May. 13th, 2007 09:06 pmThank you so much to
withdiamonds and
zacherysboxers for the virtual gifts. They were such a lovely surprise. *sends love*
I hope all the moms out there are having a wonderful day, because you all deserve it.
It was the last rugby match of the season today. A friendly game that had been arranged at the last minute which is why they played on the main pitch, and for the first time I could actually sit and watch them play. After rugby it was onto a grocery shop, then to the cinema to see Next. From there to the MiLs, then to my mam's, then back home where I cooked Sunday dinner and washed Corey's uniform. A good day I feel.
I've been reading various Asylum con reports, and I have to ask. Why would anyone think it's a good idea to ask about fanfic in a question and answer session? Or tell Jensen that there needs to be a Sam/Dean hug. Some people are just stupid, and they need to realise that some things need to stay within the fannish community. I've enjoyed the actor cons I've attended, but cringe each time at the fan question time, because there's always someone who doesn't know how to behave.
Moving on, I'll tell you all how lame I am. Last week
musiclover03 offered WAVs of the clips from the Nsync dreamphone game. Then a few days ago
_bettina_ linked to a nifty firefox add on for LJ. It tells you birthdays etc, but what's important for this story is it also announces when your flist has updated, audibly, and you can use your own sounds. Can you see where this is going? I now have Chris saying You're awesome, and don't forget I said so each time someone posts. Yes, I am that lame. *g*
