The men came first thing this morning to put in the new boiler. They've got all the doors open, have been rummaging through cupboards to turn off the water. Which is another thing, I so want a cup of tea, and it's only because I have no water to make one. The cats are locked in bedrooms, the dog is at my mam's, and I have many hours of banging and crashing to come.

I hate being along with workmen in the house. That's James' job, he's the one who likes nattering to them. Sadly, he's at work.

Oh well. Shiny new boiler and working heat at the end of this. That's totally of the win.

Also good. The boiler is done. It took them nearly 5 hours but it's in, complete with a funky remote control that means you can operate it from anywhere in the house. Now I just need to vacuum the whole house as plaster has been trailed everywhere.
