(no subject)

I wasn't online yesterday, so I missed wishing raynedanser happy birthday, but I'll do so now. Happy birthday (plus one), Den! I hope it was a good one.

It's such a beautiful autumn day today. Crispy, sunny and cool, just how I like it. It was lovely walking to the shops in the morning sun and now I'm back home, washing on the line, house tidied, just enjoying the quiet time until Corey gets home in a couple of hours.

I was tagged by babycakesin for the seven facts, random things, weird things about me meme.

(1) One of my biggest pet peeves is littering. I hate it. Hate hate hate! It's not hard to put rubbish in a bin, or shove it in your pocket until you get home. I was in the car the other day and this man and his son were walking past. The boy suddenly threw a plastic container on the floor, like the packaging cakes comes in. Then they just walked on. If Corey did that I'd make him go back, pick it up, and any other litter lying nearby for being so lazy.

(2) I use Lush's solid shampoo bar to wash my hair. Sadly my bar is down to a tiny slice now. But it lasted for months, so I have no complaints.

(3) Lush is actually my favourite place for bath and shower stuff. I get demon in the dark soap from there, adore snow fairy shower gel, which is seasonal and back soon! and think a bath with a bath bomb or bubble bath bar is wonderful.

(4) I've never broken a bone, smoked a cigarette, taken any kind of illegal drugs, and have only been falling down drunk once in my life.

(5) I'm weird about swearing. I didn't swear at all until my mid teens, and only then saying bloody, which isn't really swearing at all. I like the word fuck, and if I'm really angry I'll use it, but that's it. Even writing them down feels wrong, and I have to make a conscious effort to add swearing to my stories, because I just don't speak that way. Man, I sound like such a prude. But people can drink, smoke, swear in front of me, to an extent anyway. I just don't do it myself.

(6) I can touch my toes, hands flat to the floor without bending my knees. I suspect inside this body is a flexible person somewhere.

(7) Before I go to sleep, or are travelling or hanging around. I entertain myself with little scenarios in my head. Characters I love doing things, scraps of dialogue and actions. They're like little scenes that become familiar with repetition.

Also, carta wanted more people to do that personal canon meme, and as I'm here anyway, why not? I can't remember the actual wording, but tell me a character ( and yes, the rps people count ) and I'll tell you three things of my personal canon about them.


Last thing. I was uploading these for Turlough, and while I realise that everyone that wants them will have them anyway, I hate wasting links. Therefore.

ETA: I've just been teased with an amazing fuck or die snippet, and man, I want teased again like that again and again. But it has left me wanting more. There's just not enough fuck or die stories around, so if you have any recs, please let me know.
