May. 1st, 2008 05:31 pmSadly I did end up with a celulitis attack, I felt so ill James phoned NHS direct then our out of hours doctor who told me to go to casualty. Which I did, coming home at 2am. This morning I had to go to the walk in center, where I saw two lovely nurses who gave me the good drugs and said as long as my leg starts getting better soon I won't have to go for IV antibiotics, which is very much of the good. Though they did scare me by saying it looked like the skin was breaking down at a certain point, which gave me flashbacks to those years when I had to go get the stupid thing dressed every other day.
One visit to my old nurse later and she said it looked okay and was probably just the infection making things look bad.
In the unlikely event anyone notices I dropped off the radar completely, I'm fine, just holed up on my couch and watching tv with my leg up.
But, a few courses of the good drugs and I'm sure I'll be feeling shiny again quickly.
