(no subject)

When I logged on this morning my twitter fox was showing hundreds of new tweets, which was unusual because I'd checked it before bed. Had a look and saw ABDC had started last night and all was explained.

Yesterday was a very awesome day. Nanna was back from holiday so we were back to the usual Sunday visiting, along with my dad, his partner, my uncle and nanna's sister. Quite the crowd in a small house. Of course we couldn't get through the visit without nanna being nanna and putting her foot in it. Dad and his partner have just come home from holiday and had brought some photos to show. Sadly, because his Parkinson's is developing so rapidly, his whole face has drooped, which was very evident in one picture. When I was looking at the pictures nanna made a point of saying how awful it was, that the picture should be torn up, because that's not how her boy looks. Which you know, he was sitting right there, hardly able to talk, having walking issues, he doesn't need his own mam to say he looks awful. I love nanna, but sometimes I could shake her.

After that we went and hung at mam's for a while and then needed to pick some sleeping bags up that had been offered on freecycle. Did that and stopped at the beach for a while and had a small walk with Tex. It was early evening by then so the beach was pretty much empty and everything was golden and calm. It was gorgeous. Then home, some checking of stuff online and then an episode of The Mentalist before bed.

I know, you're all jealous of my exciting life.

I have the urge to make a Way brothers picspam. Because I love them, both of them.

Forgot something. Anyone got any Cobra fic recs, especially Alex/Nate? I'm having woe at the lack of stories for the pairing I can find.

ETA: I forgot to say. Living has just started to show Supernatural and it was the pilot episode last night. They were such babies.

I'm sure it's no surprise but I have an unholy love for Gerard and Mikey and how much they adore one another. This was from a report from the recent Comic Con.

Mikey Way said he looks up to his older brother. "Everything I do is inspired by him," he said, describing himself as the Tonto to Gerard's Lone Ranger. The "Umbrella Academy" writer laughed about their childhood, saying that he used to dress up as Robin while Mikey was Batman, resulting in a mismatched role reversal for the brothers. Gerard said of Mikey: "He's my best friend and he inspires me every single day."
