(no subject)

I'm having so much fun writing Mikey/Pete. Thinking of ways to fit the story to the movie is a great challenge and the whole thing is full of sunshine and happiness right now. In fact, for the first time in a while this may be a non-warning story. It starts Summer of Like, the same as 9902890032 other Mikey/Pete's out there but I don't care because there are firecrackers and buses and assembling home made smoke bombs with a bonus of annoying Bob. It feels good to be back in the rhythm of writing regularly again, especially as I have so many deadlines rushing close.

The new computer is running awesomely, though I keep finding out things I need to download again. Like Word, I went to open a file over the weekend and was reminded I had nothing to open it with. But now I have so all is good.

The weekend was pretty much all family. We spent Saturday with set one of niece and nephew, that included going grocery shopping with them, then eating dinner at the beach-front cafe before going to the park where Keira ran around in her new tiara pretending to be a fairy. Sunday was set two of niece and nephew, all crowded into nanna's house until there was barely room to move. Today is my brother's partner's birthday, which means the insane run of February birthdays is finally over. Thank goodness.

Talking of. I got the best birthday card from castalie today, it was just perfect!. Thank you, sis, and you too crazybutsound *g*
