I got mail. Postcards from hermitsoul and saba1789 and a package of awesome from sperrywink. Thank you all so much ♥

We got a new couch today, well, an old new couch as we bought it off Gumtree. But, it's gorgeous and condition wise is perfect. A three and two seater in colours that match our living room beautifully. It has huge, squishy cushions and seats that don't drop you down to the floor due to bust springs. I'm really pleased with our choice, especially as it provides excellent TV watching comfort.

I claimed a mix at the bandom reverse bang yesterday. Wow, those few minutes after claims opened were crazy, I have a lot of respect for the mods who handled it so well. Now I just have to hope no one is sitting cursing when they saw who had claimed their mix.

There were so many amazing choices, and I have to admit, I fell in love with the Waybots. Because, Waybots.

Mini nano is still going well, and I've been reassured that what I'm writing for stuffsit actually makes sense, which is a relief.

I've just made and eaten veggie mince with onion gravy, dumplings and mashed potato. I may be close to a food coma, which is bad as I need to get my nano words in. Though like many people in fandom I've been using Written Kitten to get my daily words, because kittens! New kittens at every 100 words.

We're taking mam to the hospital again tomorrow, for an all day thing this time. But, last week we got positive news, so that's great.

And with that I'm off to write my nano words and gain myself some kittens, and then maybe snuggle on my new comfy couch and watch TV.
