(no subject)

I just read my first sick Frank story. No 'I' in Nurse by monkey_pie is a very lovely gen story where Frank is being taken care of by his band, and I enjoyed every word.

I do love gen fic a lot and think it's a shame not more is written. More gen fic always! Also, more GSF always! That way I get the best of both worlds.

I was delighted to see Gerard blogging again, and so randomly too, like it hasn't been ages since he last posted. Between that, Frank's tweets about the twins and Indiana Jones and Ray's twitter spree the other day I've been a very happy fan, though that would be increased to ecstatic if Mikey would get his ass back on twitter/blogging. Hear that MWay, I miss your MWSOTD and random tweets. Talking of random, one of my favourites of Mikey's remains one of his very first blog posts where he talked about having no heating and Gerard laughed at him on twitter.

Anyone else got any favourites? The cereal conversation? Bob's epic cross country journey? Ray and his tech tweets of rage and awesome?

But yeah, Geezy, with Wheeie and Beezy it makes me wonder what other nicknames the Ways have for each other. I bet they're many and varied.

Mini nano is still a success and on-going, even though last week some days I barely scraped the word count. It feels strange not talking about what I'm writing but one's secret and the other for someone so I don't want spoilers. I guess I could talk about the h/c bingo killjoys ficlet I keep adding words to, but that's been written horribly slowly. Mainly because in it Mikey's been given a drug that's made him forget everyone and every time I think of him not remembering Gerard I end up D: and have to stop writing.

I'm off to write more words and then peel the potatoes for tea, but before that. I just saw this on tumblr and it made me grin, so ( bb!Mikey )
