Dec. 16th, 2016 01:01 pmThank you so much to
fleurrochard,
sylvaine plus tea, always an excellent choice for me!
saba1789,
venetia_sassy and
ihearthings_ii for the lovely cards. Getting post like that always brightens my mornings.
As of now all of my cards have been posted. If you didn't ask for a card and still want one you can still leave your address here, but unless you live in the UK I suspect they'll be more happy new year cards than happy Christmas ones.
Our bathroom is done! It looks so beautiful and the bath itself is amazing. I couldn't wait to get in last night, and it's easily a few inches deeper than the old one and also must be wider as my thighs don't touch the side, which means I could lie down and just relax. There's still a few things that need doing, they couldn't permanently fix the bath panel until the flooring gets put down, so it's just sort of popped in place at the moment, and the door hasn't been blocked on the bedroom side yet, but that will be done early in the new year.
I'm so incredibly pleased with how things have turned out, it really was worth every penny. ( some photos )
We're off to see Rogue One tomorrow, and pick up a few last minute bits and bobs Christmas wise. Because James is a member of the mobilty scheme at Metro Center he can book a parking space near the entrance, which is good as we went to Tesco this morning and it was manic, so I know MC will be a thousand times worse. James is also hiring one of the scooters as his back and hips have been acting up lately, so he can carry the bags while I scuttle behind and try to calm him down when inevitably, people keep stepping in his way.
For now though, I need to go wrap some parcels for pass the parcel at the Scout Christmas party. I've been instructed to make some layers difficult to open, so nearly a full roll of cellotape it is.
