(no subject)

I posted it as an ETA on my last post but to make it official, I posted my intoabar fic last week. It's a bit out there in terms of characters so it's lovely to see some people are taking a chance and reading. Talking Bollocks.

I had a flurry of messages from James this morning as his work have been changing some furniture and he wanted to know if I wanted a desk that was being thrown out. My desk is really old, the bottom drawers have been jammed for months now and the front bar keeps falling off. So I said yes, he went to ask the men taking out the furniture and they took the legs off for him and loaded the bits into the car. I guess the saying holds true, shy bairns get nowt.

Last Ted Lasso tonight. I want to watch but will have to wait until later so will be avoiding all spoilers. Though I suspect I know where some things are going, especially for Ted.

I'm not sure where the last few days have gone, it feels like they've just slipped away. We did have plans to see The Little Mermaid but never got there, so that will be pushed to next weekend. We did take my MiL for a drive over the moors to Barnard Castle on Saturday, picked up potatoes from the honesty stall at the farm, had lunch in the sunshine, so that was a good day.

Sunday we took my Sil, niece and nephew to the pet shop as they were getting a starter fish tank, then had a drive to the coast. Bank Holiday was a beautiful day but we spent a chunk of it grocery shopping, including inside a huge B&M for cat litter. It was so hot in there and everyone seemed to be buying garden furniture as the queues for the tills went right to the back of the shop.

But other than that, nothing of note happened. Just sunshine, pottering in the garden, some nice walks. And now it's grey and cold again and I'm wearing my Oodie. Stupid weather.
