Uncle George had a good send-off this morning ( cut for funeral talk )

Bodhi sitting went well yesterday. We went up for 6:30 am and Lucy was home just after 10. Many episodes of Peppa Pig were watched and many toys were played with and I was reminded that toddlers are a lot of hard work.

The day before that we'd taken Pauline for her scan and while there Kayleigh phoned saying she'd taken her cat, Aeriel for what she thought would be a routine appointment but they thought she'd gone into heart failure and needed her to be sedated so they could do tests. Aeriel is 18 so Kayleigh was worried about her waking up so wanted me to come with her and I felt terrible I couldn't. It did all work out in the end, Ariel is fine, on painkillers and thyroid meds now which the vet suspects could be the issue making her heart work so hard, but that was a dicey few hours.

Now James has a phone meeting with work in an hour then my MiL wants us to take some flowers to James' aunt as it's the anniversary of her husband's death tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I think I need some coffee as I had some delicious cheese pie at the wake and it's made me want a nap.
