James had another appointment with his consultant yesterday, and it went really well. ( cut for medical appointments for both of us over the last few days )

Before the hospital appointment we called into Sainsburys as they're hugely reducing the Christmas stock. I got quite a few cheese truckles for 1p, some party food packs for 75p and best of all, Felix cat treats boxes for £1.75. Each box has five full size packets of treats in, so it made sense to stock up. So Murphy and Kevin are set for a while.

After two people on my flist recommended it, I've started to watch Matlock, and it's fun so far. I didn't see the twist at the end of the first ep coming, and I'm eager to watch more.

This morning it was tip day, and I dropped off five big black bags of rubbish and an old standard lamp. There wasn't actually room in the car to take the donations, so they'll go later. We did call in the tip shop anyway, where I was restrained and didn't buy any new books, no matter how temping the price was. But, James did buy himself two little 0.5 kg dumbbells, which will be perfect for his strength building.

After that we drove to Corey's and posted birthday cards for his girlfriend through the door as neither were awake at the time. But, Sharna got them on the right day, so I'll mark this day as productive.
