Just had a weird e-mail.
She was talking about my MX archive, and how she likes Brennan/Jesse but couldn't write it because she's a woman, so sticks to femmeslash. Okay...I'm thinking that she thinks I'm a man because I'm called Terri, and that's just...I don't know what it is, I don't know whether to lol or bang my head on the desk.
I'm also thinking she must be new to slash as 99% of it's written by women. Hell, I know nothing about experiencing male sex, doesn't stop me writing it.

But in TS, femmeslash would be eeeeeuw *g*

Date: 2003-04-22 12:24 pm (UTC)I shouldn't be laughing *too* hard, though, as the main reason I balk at writing m/m slash is that I feel I'm horrible at writing the male pov...
Gee thanks
Date: 2003-04-24 02:51 am (UTC)It is pretty weird when you think about it, writing from a male POV, but I just guess and do it anyway. But I can understand people not being comfortable with trying.
I'm sure you wouldn't be horrible at it anyway, or at least not any worse than the rest of us female slashers.
You have to have faith, and a good imagination *eg*
