turpsWell the new site's going great. I only had to spend 12 hours yesterday wrestling with the FTP programme, but the satisfaction when I saw a page that I'd coded completely by myself was amazing. I know that I had people willing to help if needed ( thanks again Bast ) but I wanted to try myself first, and eventually it seemed to click into place.
So now the index page is up, as well as the master writers page and all of Jenny's stories. I'm doing a splash warning page today after thinking about it. I've never used one before but it wouldn't hurt I'm sure. Wouldn't want any innocents to get their eyes burned by slashy mutant goodness.
Of course all of this means I'm so behind in writing/mailing/reading. It's amazing how the mails stack up when they're left.
In other news we found Fluffy the hamster dead today. Corey was upset all of a minute then just wanted to see the dead body. I swear 7 year old boys are just so morbid. Fluffy was about 2 years old so he had a good life for a hamster. But no such sentiments for Corey, so we now have John the gerbil.
Now I'm off to catch up some.
