strippedhalo I hope you had a fantastic day with everything you wished for.
I've watched a lot of tv the last day or so. Friends made me cry, which yet again shows what a damn sap I am. I was fine until the Joey/Chandler part then I was off. Of course when I was watch something like that I want to read slash about it. It seems to be a direct thing in my mind, watch something, go and find slash for it. So I looked, and looked and apart from the same few stories that I always find when this insane need for Friends slash sets in I found nothing. Then I ended at FFNet, now if you know me you'll know that I have this thing about badfic. I read it thinking, wtf?! yet can't look away and usually end up reading for hours while wanting to put my hand through the screen. Which is what happened with this Friends story, a Joey suicide, past rape fic no less, complete with bucket loads of tears, angst and it ended up as het! I don't know why I do it myself I really don't.
I've also been watching Big Brother and like some of the housemates a lot and some I could cheerfully strangle already. I have a soft spot for Kitten I must admit, anyone that flips off the cameras, snogs her girlfriend and has to be forced into the house has to be good to watch. Of course there's Highlander, and we're coming up to the thing that doesn't happen soon. Not that it happens, nope it doesn't, not at all. It's all a mistake and Richie is happy somewhere away from mad Highlanders. Which reminds me, I keep saying I'm warping Corey's mind with the fannish stuff and now I'm positive. We were playing Guess Who earlier and one of the cards is someone called Duncan, so I guess that his card is Duncan, and he says, it's Duncan MacLeod of the clan MacLeod, which made me laugh a whole lot *g* But no, I'm firmly in the denial camp, all I'll do is look forward to the Horseman eps then wish Richie well on his extended holiday, even though you all know I'll be crying like a baby on the day, even though it doesn't happen.
Well now I'm done showing off my exciting life I might go and look for some Sliders slash while I have Minatour's site open. Someone must have written that Quinn/Colin hot incest fic that I want to read. I can't be the only one that sees how hot that is!
ETA: I've just been reading my post and watching the icon thatseiyaharris made me, which is bloody fantastic, but every time Joey and skeevy Steve come past I sort of think 'god no!' I totally blame Becca for the Steve thing, writing Steve fic and making me feel sorry for him ;)

As for Kitten, she kept saying she was fine, she was not fine. And frankly, I'm sure not giving her her suitcase and opening it live on telly is against like, the Geneva Convention or something lol
I will happily take the blame for the Steve pity. I wrote the fic man. And oy, Steve in my head is so much better than real Steve. He's on Becoming 'Nsync y'know. Scary. lol
Richie is fine. And he will continue to be fine right on into his thousands like Methos (mmmm, Methos). Nothing is going to happen to him. Nope.

Date: 2004-05-29 04:07 pm (UTC)I'm so sad about things like the end of Friends. I'm a total sap and when Joey and Chandler hugged I couldn't stop the tears. Who cares about the babies Joey needs his Chandler! I did like the babies, but you know I'd rather have hot monkey sex ;)
I really like Kitten and I agree opening her case on air seems wrong somehow. I know they said they were going to be evil but really, that's going a bit far. She didn't look fine to me either :( I wanted J to be voted so he only had those boxers shorts and that stupid g-string to wear for weeks. That would have taught him a lesson the vain idiot.
The Steve in my head is so much better than the real thing too. How he and Joey are brothers I'll never know. Well, I do know but really Joey got all the good bits, lol.
Ritchie is fine! Not going to see any mad Highlanders.

mmmmmmmm, pretty pretty boys lol I didn't get into it for ages, the best friend kept telling me how great it was, but I thought it was too formulaic and soapy, and then I fell in love with Lex and Clark/Lex lol there's many a crap story line you can endure for character development lol
