turpsToday needs to start over, in fact if things started over from yesterday that would be good. Or what would be better is if I could pull ever phone line out and chuck my mobile in the bin. That way I wouldn't have to field frustrating calls while dealing with frustrating people. Gah, just gah.
Okay, I'm calm, really I am. In an attempt to deal with frustration I decided to sort out my online folders, which actually led to more frustration but at least it wasn't of the personal kind. Lets just say that I have unsorted folders from my last computer, which in turn have folders from the computer before. My stories are scattered everywhere and really it's just an unorganised mess. So I started to organise a little and at least some are in the right place. I also found things I'd forgotten about, which makes me think if I actually concentrated on the stuff I'm supposed to write instead of messing with ficlets etc I'd be a much better writer than I am.
I've been up fixing Kay's internet and joined her to a new ISP, which took a long time. Man, I forgot how frustrating dial up is. But it's done now and hopefully she won't be using my computer every day like she has been. It was nice playing around on Blue, I missed him, though he did look and feel bulky with not having a flat monitor. Also, Corey asked why I had red spots on my cheek just now. Sometimes life's cruel, when you're as old as I am you shouldn't get spots ... sigh.
You know what? I'm going to have a coffee and sit and read the flist. I hope you're all doing good today :)
But before I do, this made me laugh.
