(no subject)

Just posting to say that I'm alive. I've been really sick for the last week, going to the funeral and spending hours in the sun while battling an infection wasn't the best thing I could do and I paid for it. But, fingers crossed, I'm finally on the mend, I hope so because enforced bed rest sucks, there's only so much tv you can watch before wanting to go out of your mind. However, I do now know enough decorating tips to keep me going for the next ten years due to watching the home and leisure channel.

James and Corey are away camping right now. They were going to stay home but considering I'm better and all I'm doing is napping on the couch and limping around the house there was no reason for them to miss out. It's strange without them here, like a part of me is missing. I'm thrilled they're having fun and I'm fine on my own. It's just weird I guess.

So I'm sitting in my pjys with my leg propped up under the desk and doubt I'll get ready today. I'm going to try and get caught up on some stuff. I have a story that's due very soon and I don't know if I can pull it off in time, I want to as missing the deadline makes me feel guilty, but I'll see. I'm going to try and catch up on the flist but I don't know how far I'll get back. I've sort of been out of it the last few weeks, so if I've missed anything, just give me a knock about it. Like if there's pictures of Chris and JC making out at challenge I want to know ;) But more importantly, how you're all doing. I've been worried about some people and I hate that RL has kept me distanced in some way.

I think that's all. Erm, hi to the new people *waves* The fact I've been friended in the period I call Terri's disease ridden, angsty, melodramatic July astounds me, but welcome. I like to think I'm usually more up beat than I have been lately *g*

I hope I feel like myself again soon too. I seem to have spent the last month recovering then getting my feet knocked from under me again. But I have good drugs now so fingers crossed, this is the last time I'll be ill.

At this moment I just want to be 100%. I'm sick of feeling blah.

August has to be better. For me July was 4 black weeks with a weekend of challenge gold, but even then that was spoiled by feeling ill.

Next month will be better for us, I know it will.

Some days it is nice to not have to rush around to get ready. I'm still sitting here in my PJs in fact. We have errands to run, though, so it won't last. not to mention, my vision s blurrier than usual, probably because if my meds, so... whee!

The way I see it is I've nothing that needs doing so I'm going to just sit and enjoy being online then maybe watch a bit tv and you don't need to dress for that.

I missed you too. The lizard leg is on it's way to be fixed. It still hurts but at least the swelling's gone down and it's flesh coloured and not red now.
