My reservations about this Fuq-Q-Fest for TS are growing all the time. Someone on the mailing list has just posted asking what a beta reader is. I think that says it all.
You're a bad influence Pat...I like that in a person lol.
I really think the thing's headed for disaster. I'm on the ML and it seems there's no actually writers on there, just people who are offering to beta and do art work, I don't know who the heck Ami's been asking.
But the beta thing just amazed me. For a minute I thought I was at FanficNet ;)
*blushes heavily* Thanks for the nice compliment. *g*
See, I think that's explainable. Ami stated that she invited her favorite writers to the list and it may be that said favorite writers took one look at the challenges and - see that dust cloud at the horizon? ;-)
BTW, I always wondered, who the heck is the "Alpha"-reader if the one that should point out your mistakes is the "beta"-one. ;-)
*blushes heavily* Thanks for the nice compliment. *g*
No worries. You'll always be my hero for posting that fanfic's not the same as canon at PL. Yay Pat, says things that I'm too much of a wimp to.
Ami just posted the challenges for the next wave at the Fuq-q-Fest, and I notice she's wanting to do a beastwars one. At which point I'm on the verge of being at the tail end of that dust cloud, and even you won't get me to stay this time ;)
Wouldn't have thought that this was this much of an "epiphany" for some listsibs when I made that comment, but my private inbox proved otherwise. *g* Glad you liked that comment, as mundane as this "information" was. *g*
*coughcough* *Pat waves the dust cloud away*
You know, I can perfectly understand why you want to bail out at this point and it explains exactly where all the writers vanished to. *g*
From Pat :-)

Anyway, like I said, go ahead for dark and twisted. ;-)
