As part of the VMA thing MTV is playing all the previous VMA performances, I've had it on all morning, and may have just bolted from my chair to watch Backstreet when they came on. Hell I did bolt, how could I not? Everybody is one of the best songs ever, and man, they looked good. Growling am I sexual like that and doing that body move. Good grief! Drooling and answering hell yeah was involuntary. Kevin looked gorgeous, I prefer him with long hair but he was wearing this shirt that would ride up when he was dancing. Now I don't know about anyone else but as good as a naked chest is I love flashes or bare skin just as much. When he showed off his stomach by putting his hands in the air he broke me.

Writing wise I didn't hit my target, mainly because James needed some e-mails writing for jobs. Man, they're boring to write and we did a lot, hopefully he'll get some replies. He's at work today even though it's a bank holiday and Corey's out so I should get going on this damn story again, I sort of left them in a tight spot last night. Lance missing presumed dead, JC and Justin barely alive and Chris is turning into a Marty Stu! Normally there's no way I'd do that but it's supposed to be clichéd. At least I hope it is. I have visions of posting this damn thing and being cast from the fandom. Get out and take your implausible plot and Marty Stud with you. I'm thinking Lance is a jinx in my stories. The last thing I had so much trouble with was the JoLa for the Joey ficathon. See, Lance again. It's his fault!

I suspect I need to go to the doctors tomorrow. My appointment's not until Friday but they said go back if things got worse, and they have. Which is pissing me off because I'm doing what I'm supposed to. Plus, I just don't want to go, which is childish sure, but before this last month or so I hadn't been to the doctors in years, and now look at me. There on a weekly basis. And I'm whining so I'll shut up and make the appointment. I signed up for the nifty internet appointment system last time I was there. You can only make an appointment on the day you want it at our doctors and you have to phone at 8:30 to have a chance of getting one. At least this way I just book myself in which is cool.

I just have to remember one good thing, at least I'm not dead like Lance ;)

The whole job thing seems to be sucking worldwide. Definite worldwide suckage going on. And I hate hearing how so many new jobs have been added. Where? I hope he finds something soon that he enjoys and pays him well.

See, I never liked the term "Marty Stu", it just bothers me... ..I dunno why, maybe my anti-PC raving anarchist side doesn't like how the feminine "Mary Sue" was converted, or something... Honestly, I have no idea; I just don't like it. All my superhero characters that are either alternate universe mes or the character is based on my own self in some way, shape, or form? I call 'em Mary Sues. Everyone knows what I'm talking about (well, everyone who knows fanfic, anyway...) and even if my characters aren't the walking cliches most Mary Sues are, it still communicates the idea of self-in-story. Good enough for me.

Or, it was until now, 'cuz MARTY STUD!!
