I had to show this off. _bettina_ made me a Joey icon! From the footage that makes me go, HELL YEAH!

And you know Joey's gorgeous and he doesn't get enough loving. There really should be more Choey in the world. I'll just sit here and wait as you all write me some ;)

It was nothing special. Just a phone call then a visit from mam where she spent most of her time calling Kay names and asking what she'd done to have a lesbian daughter. It just annoys me you know? She says Chris and I are normal but Kay's not and it doesn't matter what I say she keeps on saying things like that when she's drunk.

So that's all. I didn't post details because it happens all the time and really people don't want to read it over and over. Thanks for the offer though. It means a lot.

Remeber that Choey I wrote? The fic that's really all dedicated to Joey? I had a lot of good feedback on that one, yet it's still the least read story on my site.

Joey loves his boys, so I don't get the lack of Joey-love in the world of slash either. And he is so slashable, they way he likes to pick his boys up and twirl them around and likes throwing an arm around them. Lots of slashy Joey moments.

I don't get the disinterest in Joey at all. I've read comments before that Choey is the ugly pairing which makes me spitting mad, because neither of them are at all ugly.

Yet Joey is still so unslashable to many people. I don't know if it's because he's seen as too straight, too taken or what, but like you said. He loves his boys so much and there's so many slashy moments in canon that I don't get why he's not slashed much more often.

I suspect the wedding will make him less slashable to many people, which is silly. I mean, it's not like the others are gay either and we slash them. ( May I say here that I know some of them could be gay, but we don't know for sure ) That's not directed at you btw, Just anyone that could wander in and say 'Have you seen Lance!' *g*

I may have to ask in a post what it is about Joey. I'm curious now.

I've heard the same they're ugly comments here or there, but neither one is ugly at all! Some people have no taste whatsoever (and some people have no sense whatsoever. LOL!). Chris is absolutely gorgeous. I don't think Joey is bad looking, but I've had a couple run-ins with Italian men over the years and they are just not my cup of tea at all. They're okay as friends, but I find them a total turnoff when it comes to relationships.

I'd think the reason that Joey fics aren't written often is that Joey fics aren't all that popular and therefore don't get read much. I think most people would choose a more popular pairing, knowing they'd have a better chance of having their stories read. I think you're right though, after getting married, he'll likely be slashed even less (although I do remember reading a story if him in a psycho ward all drugged up and I think he was married to Kelly and I think they had 2 kids in that story, so you never know).

Most of the stories I've read that have Joey or Justin in a main pairing, are stories written by my favorite authors. I've actually read both Joey and Justin fics that I really enjoyed.
