I totally managed to crash my computer last night. I'd get all pissy and ranty but the fact I had note tab, my ftp programme, Word, winamp, e-mail and about ten different browser screens open clearly shows it's my fault. Which is why I won't scream that Word's automatic save didn't work or I lost e-mails. As see, it was my fault. However, I will bang my head against the desk a while.

Also, my e-mail is doing the announcing mail and there's nothing there thing again, which is annoying and playing with my head a little.

Last gripe for today *g* James is at an assertiveness course today. He sets off at 8 to get there for 9 then phones me saying he can't find the place. So I look online and eventually find a basic map. Is it my fault he was in the wrong town? I told him where the place was, if he's in Newcastle and not the place he's supposed to be how am I supposed to know? Men *kicks them* With apologies to the men on my flist.

Wait, I have another. If the phone doesn't stop ringing I'm going to shove it in the freezer. I'm just saying.

The MPREG mini explosion has baffled me. Where did they all come from? Which is appropriate as that's what I always think when reading MPREG. 'But how did it get there?' Surprisingly the ones I've read I've liked because MPREG's never been my thing. Next thing you know I'll be printing out Chris in red silk panties stories and know I've gone insane. Which is where I say cross-dressing is good, just not my kink except for very specific circumstance,so don't kill me.

Reading the flist today I saw [livejournal.com profile] yami_tai post about A-Ha. I loved that band so much and my bedroom walls were covered in posters of them. I was all about Mags for some reason. Morten and Pal were cool but Mags was special. I'd love to say that I didn't just Google A-Ha slash but I'd be lying ;)

I don't know.

Sometimes you want more than a sex kitten hot man.

I think.

...

Man. What am I saying!

Which is to say. I haven't seen you but you'll be an equal to Morten at least I bet.

I read the bassez MPREG by Genie and I think that's enough for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it but I don't think I can handle much more of the genre so soon. *g*

See I've enjoyed the ones I've read. Which is all of two *g*

But I'm surprised that I did as normally I can't get past thinking that it's just not possible.

I've read MPREGs before, not much of them, but they've all been silly crack fics, where the bassez one is a serious fic, but MPREG. and I liked it. and yes. *g*

I think that's why I enjoyed Silveryscrape and Rhys' stories so much. They were serious which meant I could suspend my disbelief about the subject matter. I've read silly crack fic MPREG too and thought I'd enjoy them as badfic ( because I do love laughing at badfic ) that would be all.

I was going to comment on this at your LJ, but I think we've covered it all here *g*

this reminds me - did I scar you with the manties porn yet?

And BOOO to computer crashes that loose writing. Boo I tell you.
[and my email's doing exactly the same thing and it's really frustrating!]

I secretly kind of like mpreg - although why the sudden influx I have no idea - it can be done well, and when it is it's a fascinating charcter study in people being themselves when they're altered, whcih is more or less the same reason I love wing fic. Although wings ae just hot, and pregnancy mostly just isn't.

You scarred me with the manties site. Please don't tell me there's porn about it too!

I was gutted that Word didn't save what I'd done. It always does because I've set it to automatically back up every 5 minutes after previous crashes, what went wrong this time I don't know. The e-mail thing is annoying the hell out of me. It announces mail, I go to check and there's nothing.

MPREG is in with cross dressing for me. It has to be done well or it ends up as an embarrassment. I read Rhys' story this morning and I couldn't stop reading. It was so real and I think that's what makes the difference. I've read MPREG that's so rose tinted that the guys end up as girls with the perfect pregnancy, and I don't buy that. Being pregnant is cool and wonderful, but it also sucks at times, and that would surely be magnified if you're a man.

rhys' mpreg nearly made me late to meet a friend yesterday, I lost track of time immersed in it.

Um, it's not quite manties *porn* but the evil wench who forced that nightmare on me dared me to write her a ficlet on the subject and I did it. I'm not going to link because I *like* you.

And hey - this time there's mail.

*smooch*

I can understand that. I started reading while drinking my breakfast coffee and was still sitting in my pjs ages after.

A manties ficlet. See I'm torn because I love your stuff but on the other hand. Manties *g*

I couldn't find any.

I don't know if I'm disappointed or not. A-Ha were a huge part of my childhood so slashing them seems a little weird. However, I think I'd soon get over that when I read some hot man on man action.

I'd love to say that I didn't just Google A-Ha slash but I'd be lying ;)

So there wasn't any a-ha slash then I take it... I'm disappointed, it would be interesting to read! Maybe we should roleplay? You can be Mags, I can be Morten ^_~ *giggles*!!

You know how people have bulletproof kinks? MPREG is my bulletproof squick. No matter how well-written it is, it gives me the willies a little bit.

Mind you, I don't fault anyone else who enjoys it. It's just not my thing.

I totally understand how it could do that. I mean, it's so weird for want of a better word.

I'm just amazed at all the MPREG that's been posted lately.
