turpsYesterday I was pottering around in the kitchen when I heard this noise. It sounded like a cat hacking up a furball or something, so I went to investigate and discovered it was James. I asked him what the hell he was doing and he explained he was beat boxing like that guy I like. Which yeah. That's the last time I put Pop on a mix CD, because these outbreaks of 'beat boxing' may drive me insane soon *g*
We were out most of yesterday and at one point I was pushing my niece in a trolley while we shopped together, and man. I was so broody, reminding me that I really want another baby in the future. Most of the afternoon was spent with the in laws, I was looking at their new computer, and really, a computer without internet is a sad thing. Saying that though, I suspect when they do get the internet I'll be paranoid they'll find my LJ. That'll teach me to have the same e-mail and user name.
While we were out we found out that Sally had died too. Sally is one of my mam's friends and a mainstay of the local pub. She was 91 and went to the pub every day where she'd sit in the corner with all the other regulars, mam included. She was nice enough but there were things about her I didn't like, which seems mean as she was so old, and is in fact dead now, but they're my issues so what can you do? Houghton will be in mourning for Sally, especially the drinkers. In fact her daughter phoned the pub to say she'd died half an hour after it happened. I imagine the church will be packed but I'm hoping that the funeral will be Fri so I have an excuse not to go.
And a question. Has anyone ever used sugaring as hair removal? If you have did it work and did it hurt? I'm a wimp, I need to know these things *g*
