Moving the thread a little, that's something I just don't understand about feedback, the people that will say everything's good. That's so wrong, there's some rubbish out there. Now I'd never mail someone and tell the writer that, but on the other hand I wouldn't tell them it was good either. Why some people LOC *everything* good or bad is a mystery to me.

While on the subject of things I don't understand (I'm in a pissy mood can you tell) why is there such opposition to something other than the OTP in TS? Ok, I personally love J&B together, but I've also read B/O J/O J/S/B B/R etc and that's fine too. In fact one of my buttons is reading the guys with a boyfriend, maybe because it shows that they just suddenly don't become gay for each other. ( but that's a rant for another day I think)

Does any other fandom stick so closely to the OTP, I've only really been in XF and Voyager, and there doesn't seem to be so much resistance to other pairings there. I dabble in SG and that seems to be pretty much OTP locked also but not as much as TS.

I guess what I'm getting at is, if you're a fan of say Blair, is it really that bad if he has sex with Rafe instead of Jim? I've a feeling the answer for most people would be yes.
