Thank goodness I didn't go to bed early.

I got my assignment and it isn't the equivalent to a lump of coal, in fact I'm feeling good right now :D

I mightn't have done at one time but in a twist of fate a wonderful unexpected comment earlier related so well to this.

I hope everyone else got good news.

ETA: Okay, initial excitement is gone, nerves have set in. Tell me I'm still new enough to snag a mentor.

Oh dear. I have to admit the pairing I have isn't something I'd go for in a million years but at least I've done it before. I'm sorry you were given something that scares you.

But I'll repeat, I'm positive you'll do great.

Go to bed, sweetheart. Get some sleep and you may feel more positive in the morning, and no worries at all about not being around. As long as I know you're okay that does for me.

I'm too nervous to ask someone I don't know to mentor for me. I'd hate to be the first person in SeSa history to be turned down by a mentor *sigh*. Maybe I can twist autumnyte's arm. ;)

I am happy. It's not one I'd write on my own but it's one I know I can do so it works out in the end.

I'm sure you wouldn't be turned down but I understand why you won't ask.

I wish I could help by volunteering to be a mentor but I'm really not good enough at the technical side to be any use. However, I'm willing to hand hold so if you ever need to bat ideas or just talk I'll help as much as I can.

I actually had a couple plot bunnies hopping around last night and really wanted to start writing, but I was so tired at work all day yesterday and as it is I only got about 3-4 hours of sleep and to make matters worse, I think this is the day we need to present out personal development goals to our GM. I've not done this ever before since I'm new, and really haven't done much with it because I have no clue what to say *sigh*.

Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on that! And you know if you ever need another set of eyes to look yours over, you're more than welcome to send it my way. :)
