I saw this friendsfriends surfing and as I'm killing time in short bursts between doing rl stuff made like a lemming and filled it in.

Why I don't know as recs make me nervous, I'm always afraid of offending people or missing someone off when I love their stuff.

Pick your top five (or fewer, if you can't think of that many) favorite pairings, and rec one story for each, by writers who are on your friends list. If there's no one on your flist who writes that pairing, then rec the first story that comes into your head.

Chris/Lance -- No doubt about this one. I love The Wednesday Thing. I can't even say why I love it so much it just appeals so much with the hopelessness and hope combined and god, Lance is just there constantly and Justin, man when he says he's strong enough to carry both him and Chris, that bit makes me all teary every damn time.

Chris/JC -- It's so hard to choose but it has to be [livejournal.com profile] chootoy's 24. The trickc content is low but I love the style and I always get tense reading it even though I know what happens. Also, [livejournal.com profile] mickeym's The Different Forms Love Takes. It's dog fic man, what's not to love? Which also means I have to add [livejournal.com profile] nopseud's and every Dog his Day because again, it's dog fic. But with an added potential squick warnings for those two.

Chris/Joey -- Another one where it's hard to pick but I'll say [livejournal.com profile] cjmarlowe's Ever After. Also [livejournal.com profile] dreamtrance's Choey is wonderful too and Rhys' All Over You Series

Chris/Justin -- There's so many Timbertricks that I love but very few people on my friendslist seem to write it. So that's your task for today, go write me Timbertrick, go on then, I'm waiting *G* While I wait I'll tell you about Jessa's In Your Defeat which is Timbertrick but a Timbertrick that breaks your heart. Jessa's stuff is wonderful but man it hurts to read sometimes. I also have to mention [livejournal.com profile] silveryscrape's Milagro because again with a Timbertrick story that I love.

Now have a bonus. Chris/Kevin. Those are my cross over OTP, at least on the days it's not Chris/Nick. [livejournal.com profile] bachelor_girl wrote the first K/C I ever read The Old Man and Shorty Drabbles and even now I think they're great. Go read, make her write more.

Does anyone write Chris/Nick on my flist? Wait, [livejournal.com profile] augustuscaesar wrote me a lovely story, Dared.Sadly I can't link as it's in a frame and I don't know how to link to those. I'm not smrt, you all know that by now.

I'll stop there but I could rec so much more, I've some kick ass writers on my flist and I'd mention you all if I had time, special mention must go to [livejournal.com profile] forceofisis who's easing me into liking JuC, which is something I thought I'd never say ;) Also looking at the recs above I don't just like downer/darkish stories, really I don't.

And the last bonus. [livejournal.com profile] castalie writes awesome J/B from The Sentinel you should check out her whole site.

ETA: I've permission from [livejournal.com profile] joshysleo to post a hot Chris/Nick ficlet here that she wrote. It's flocked at her journal but I want people to see it so look behind the cut for some lovely Chris/Nick.

Nick prowled across the room. Skin tight leather pants, a shade of green so dark that it appeared black until the light hit it. No shirt and the small silver hoops through his nipples were set off perfectly by his tan skin. He caressed the short whip he held in his hands. Stroking the leather tenderly as if it was a living creature. Chris choked on the words he wanted to say, all he could do was watch Nick and whimper. A flick of Nick's arm, a sharp crack of sound and as the sensation of the whip's kiss spread along his body, Chris stuggled against his bonds. Another flick, another crack of sound and Chris screamed behind the ball gag in his mouth. Nick smiled and walked from where he stood at the side of the bed, down to the foot, two quick snaps of the whip against the soles of Chris' bare feet and Chris nearly dislocated one of his shoulders as he bucked upwards. Still Nick smiled and said nothing. Chris watched him as he moved to the side of the bed once more and tried not to tense up as Nick began to work the whip back and forth in the air. Close, so close to Chris' skin, but not touching it for so long, then *CRACK* the sting of the leather grazing Chris' uppper thighs, his stomach, over both of his nipples. Chris pleaded with his eyes for Nick to speak, for Nick to finally tell him that it was ok, that he was allowed to come, yet still Nick stayed silent. Chris was close, so very close, Nick knew it too. Chris lost himself in an overload of sensations as Nick worked him over with the whip. He didn't even register when the whipping stopped. He didn't even hear the sound of Nick's zipper sliding down or Nick stepping out of his pants. He was lost in a white haze of pleasure that peaked into a rainbow of colors when Nick lowered himself onto Chris' leaking cock and began to ride him.

"Come for me, Chris." Nick whispered as he leaned down to lap at Chris' right nipple then the left. "Come."

Chris bucked in his restraints and did as his master told him.

I love the dog story!

I can't remember if I was in my hide and be scared of people phase when you posted it so if I didn't feed you back I thought it was fantastic. The fact that Chris was a dog ( and one I can picture in my mind so clearly ) but JC still loved him makes me so happy. JC just knows it's Chris when most people would be pushing that stray out the door.

Fact is I could have recced a load from your site but I was restraining myself *g*

So you're more than welcome.

Sweet! When I saw they asked for top five favourite pairings, I wondered whether you were going to list J/B at all, so it was a nice surprise to see both the pairing and my name here lol

Of course I was going to mention J/B. They're still one of my OTPs and lets face it your stuff always hits all my buttons. The only problem I had was picking which story to rec so I got around that by recommending the whole site ;)

Which arghhh, I just noticed my link isn't working to it. I'd better go see which tag I forgot to close this time.

*kisses with you*

Only problem is now I think I might kinda want the Trickyfish a little.

*tries to hide* I can't believe I typed that. I never read Chris with anyone, but JC or Nick.
Maybe it is time to change that, eh?

Thanks for reccing stuff, I was starting to get bored with my day being sick. ;)

I haven't a clue how the trickyfish link ended on there. I copy and pasted the timbertrick one. It's that Lance pushing his way in *g*

I love trickyfish, you really need to go and read every trickyfish story you can find and enjoy the Lance goodness.

No worries about the recs, and I hope you feel better soon.

My own fb ratio is awful, so don't worry about it. I'm just pleased you like that story, which is deeply flawed but dear to my heart.
