turpsI cancelled my doctors appointment as I don't feel well enough to go. Which sounds stupid I know but it was only to see the nurse and walking down in the cold doesn't appeal at all. The last thing I need is for this cold to get worse, as it is the red nose, cough and headache is enough for me.
I especially can't get really sick because in the next week or so I have to arrange all the stuff for James' birthday party. Decorations, the cake as well as buy and make food enough for around 100 people. The MiL was going to help but she has to go into hospital next week so it'll be me and my little helper. The decorations will be simple, maybe a few banners thats all. I'd love to have balloons because they make everything better but I know I'll get all resentful when people pop them and they will, they always do. Why James has to have a birthday this close to Christmas I'll never know.
Thinking of James he fell up the stairs at work this week. He's not that steady on his feet sometimes so came home with this huge blue plaster on his knee. I'm used to Corey coming home and showing off poorly knees not so much James. He's fine now until he takes his leg off then there's fun and games as he has to kneel to walk. I tell you it's a laugh a minute in this house *g*
It's wonderful that challenge is happening next year, the news sure got the flist moving ;)

My username is - turps33. Turps is what my brother calls me, I have no idea why I picked the 33 it's not significant in any way.

Because I sort of have this thing, a big thing about those damn braces which seems to be spreading. I was lusting after the window cleaner because he has braces. I'm a freak I know.
And If there is any question you would like to ask me about any one of my fics, then go ahead! What I meant by a particular line, why I chose that characterisation, what I was listening to as I wrote, what crack I was taking and where you can get some ... anything. Anything you might like to know about how I wrote a fic, I shall do my best to answer.
Emphasis on that last line. I tend to wing it when I write to say the least.
Now I must go and find the remote for Sky. I've been listening to Cartoon Network since Corey went to school and can't take it anymore!

Man yeah 100 people. I can see days of cooking in my future.

I hope it goes well too, it'll be fun I think it's just the prep that's a bit daunting.
They really should have non-pop balloons, that's a great idea.
