Nov. 30th, 2004 09:32 pmI asked this yesterday, but is this week not over with yet? I just want it to be Saturday already and then I can stop having issues about things that don't deserve to have issues attached to them and stop wanting to bash my head on the desk several times a day. And you know the things that are annoying me are so petty but they're coming one after another and it's just arghh. Like birthday cakes. We decided not to have one because it's a lot of money for something that wouldn't really be missed. I mean you cut them up and I'm sure most people throw their slices away when they leave. But then I find out the in laws have decided to make one, but not a normal cake, oh no they're wanting a cake in the shape of boobs, and okay there's nothing wrong with that. It's tacky sure but tack is fun at times but not when you have kids and grandparents at your party.
Also, mortgage man cried off again, and really if this is the way he conducts his business it's a wonder he has any clients at all. However I am kicking ass on the housework front. Simply because I made a vow that all outstanding jobs both rl and online will be done before Christmas. So right now I have only one load of outstanding laundry which is about normal but the ironing pile is significantly smaller. Which doesn't sound much until you understand I tend to iron what's needed on the day and I've had a huge basket full of ironing in the corner of the kitchen for months. A domestic goddess I'm not but then again I've never wanted to be one.
Corey was at the cubs again yesterday and he still loves it. He's been learning his pledge and I have to laugh ( internally of course ) because the things he's pledging are thing I really don't believe in. Especially the 'to do my duty to God and to the Queen'. Royalty especially annoys me. I'd never bow or curtsey to someone just because they were born to a so called upper class. I respect people for their actions not their birthright. I know that our royal family bring in a lot of tourist money but man, what do they give back? They turn up at a few events and get fawned on while thinking they're better than those under them. I hate that, but I'll step off my soap box now.
I'll also stop whining because really it's unattractive and how can a person whine when there's proof that Chris and JC spent Thanksgiving together? And beautiful new pictures of JC and
silveryscrape pointing out how happy Lance looks in the beach porn pictures, because dude, the man is very happy. I'm also listening to the Nsync Christmas CD because Santa is coming soon! I'd open my advent calendar tomorrow but alas I'm seen as too old to have one. It's to weep I tell you.
The SeSa is coming on good now, apparently all you need to do is curse and call it names and the words come flooding back, though it could be sheer relief they're still there after James crashed poor Silver last night. It's just hit 5000 words and I'm going to try to crack down and write tomorrow. No one will be allowed to mention chicken legs or sandwiches or anything that relates to the dreaded birthday party words. Actually in the process of research I've been reading stories of the pairing I was assigned and found a lovely hot story where JC watches Lance and Chris have sex. It hit some of my buttons dead on, which means in the process of today I've gone from reading a hot Choey short by
powrhug, timbertrick talk and thoughts, a hot Trickyfish and of course the OTP of the TrickC which proves my tinhat is big enough to cover all my pairings ;)
I owe a load of comment replies, sorry, you all know I suck by now. Then the plan for tonight is to catch up on the flist and clear some comment tags. I have a load right now. Three of them Lydia's. I may be dead by AC!JC by tonight.
Also, all you people who are mocking me in
_jules_'s icon post. You're all mean! ;)

Date: 2004-11-30 02:05 pm (UTC)Booby-cake? That seems mildly inappropriate. You could just tell the kids they're sand dunes or something.
When I was in Brownies we had to pledge to the queen too, and I remember thinking, "what queen?" I mean, we're even more removed than you.

Pink sand dunes with little rocks on the top, I could try that. Really I have no problem with booby cakes just not in this setting.
I totally don't get the Queen thing. I mean why? Especially for you guys.

Date: 2004-11-30 02:11 pm (UTC)Be cautious of the first one, it's a little on the squicky side, if I can read you right, but rest assured that the other two certianly WILL kill you unless you hate all that AC!JC stands for.
I'm glad sesa's working for you. I wish I had it as easily. :)

Date: 2004-11-30 03:00 pm (UTC)I have to admit I'm enjoying the SeSa, whether it's any good is another matter. I know you have a bunny now, I'm sure it'll develop into a kick ass story.
Also, I love the icon.

The SeSa is coming on good now,
Yay! :-)

Dude, I shall worship at your alter of domestic goddessness. I, on the other hand, do not own an iron. That's how much ironing I do.

Date: 2004-12-01 01:29 am (UTC)I really should have an advent calendar. I may just go and buy myself one.

I'm in awe of you not having an iron. You're such a rebel! Sadly I have to but I hate every second of it.

Do it! Do it! You need a calendar, why shouldn't it have chocolate in it?
I'm in awe of you not having an iron.

It's just hit 5000 words and I'm going to try to crack down and write tomorrow.
People like you make people like me look bad ;-). I'm just barely over 2000 words and most of them suck *sigh*.

Date: 2004-12-01 01:25 am (UTC)Thanks, honey.
Believe me those 5000 words have been created with sweat and blood at times. There's a reason I don't write the pairing I have willingly ;)
Also I doubt your story sucks at all. It's hard to have perspective when you're writing. I'm really looking forward to reading it.

Date: 2004-12-01 10:26 am (UTC)I just don't know where I'm going with this story, it's totally without a purpose and plot and one of the keeps pining while the other one is a tease and I don't know what to do with it. Sometimes I think I should start over, but I don't know if I'm able to do that in the time we've got left. I'm sorry for my whining in your journal!

Date: 2004-12-02 02:12 am (UTC)No need to say sorry for whining here. Is there anything I can do to help? I'm always available for chucking ideas about or looking your story over. And you know even if you do start over there's still just under three weeks, it's possible to write a great story in that time.
