James is on early shift today so I've been up way too early, I don't think I've been up on purpose before 6 in years. The getting up part wasn't helped by how late I went to bed after I needed one last rearrange of the SeSa. So now I'm sitting wrapped in the sleeping bag with my coffee because the heating's gone off again. If I were smart I'd go back to bed but sadly I'm awake now.

The news that supernova is gone makes me panic because where can I get my tv shows now? That place was my catch all for movies, tv and music. Talking of movies we saw Polar Express last night. At least if you take me watching from my desk and seeing five minutes of movie for each sentence poked I did. I enjoyed it a lot but then I again I love the whole Christmas, lights, Santa thing. It's like my favourite advert is the Coke one with all the lit up trucks driving in a line, it's fantastic!

I need to clean house today but I think I'll wait until it's light and drink a few more coffees, watch tv and read the flist but shush about that ;) At least most of the gifts are done. We went to MertroCentre yesterday and bought the last stuff and amazingly it was a good trip. I expected it to be really busy but it wasn't that bad. We got some stuff from Lush which has to be one of my favourite shops ever. I always get Corey bath stuff from there as he loves it, especially anything that glitters. This time we ended with gingerbread men bath ballistics, Santa ballistics, and ballistics with glitter and stars in them. It's a bitch to clean out of your bath after but that's fine, seeing the explosion of the sparkle and the gorgeous smell makes it worth it. I think Corey and I smelled every product in there, they even had a mars bar bubble bath bar which smelt so strongly of chocolate. Not sure if I'd want to bathe in it though.

I think I'll stop babbling now and you know go fix the heating or something. I mean blue really isn't my colour ;)

I love Lush. I love the fact that even 10 stores away you can smell it.

The Gingerbread Men are GREAT!

Do you use a whole bubble bar at once though? I always split them. Ihave the christmas one right now and its' like having a bath in mulled wine!

Exactly! When I'm walking down the street you know you're approaching just by smell. It's gorgeous.

The Gingerbread men are great! They smell so delicious and look so cool.

I split my bubble bars too. I'd love to use a full one but I'm tight and I'd also suspect the bubbles would go out of control.

One day I shall be super extravagent and use a full one, but yes. I'm afraid of bubble overload!

I normally make them go three baths, 'cept the blue sky one which does about 4. Good value for money that one! :)

I've been awake since 6am myself. For no apparent reason except ... dude, it was cold!

The coffee can't be strong enough today ;-)

Getting up at 6 isn't right at all. As far as I'm concerned at 6 you should be snuggled up warm in bed and still have hours left to sleep. And yeah, it's freezing here too! I was going to whine then read the flist with people saying it was minus 37 in Canada and I felt like a wimp but still, I'm freezing *shivers*

The coffee can't be strong enough today ;-)

Tell me about it! I'm on my third mug. It's so hot and coffeery and just...mmmmmmm

Yeah, minus 37 celcius. I can't even imagine being that cold.

As for you. Have huge big *hugs* because you deserve them because you're so much more than you said.

So it's true, then? Supernova is gone? Someone on my flist mentioned it, but I thought maybe it was... a glitch or something. Okay maybe not a 'glitch' but a bug and it would come back soon.

Wow... feels like a monument disappared! lol

Yeah, it's gone. I really hope it comes back too but from what I'm hearing that's not likely. I know there's other torrent sites but Supernova was the best of them all.

It's a sad day for sure.

Oh man, your icon cracks me up!

Corey's so adorable, showing off his love of the glittery and sparkly. I must confess, when I was shopping for holiday cards this week I succumbed to the call of the sparkly, choosing the glittery cards. I just know the house is full of sparkly dance boys getting their holiday groove on! ;)

LOL. I wonder where he gets it from ;)

Glittery sparkly cards are the best, that's the kind I have. You should have given me your addy and I would have sent you one. I'm not a stalker, promise *g*

I was late to the carding party, thanks to my broken down laptop *sigh*. I could send you my addy, but most likely it'll be changing in a few months anyway. There's always next year! ;)

Definitely for next year! I'll still be in St. Louis, MO. Somewhere in St. Louis. ;)

For some reason I've never been terribly successful with torrents, but I found a different p2p program that I think works as well, if not better: go to http://www.sharetv.net/ for the downloads and http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/general.cgi?l=1 for the client that does the downloading. (ShareTV only links to tv show downloads, but if you search when you have the Emule program open, you'll find movies, music, etc. Also, there are other versions of the client; that's just the one I use and like.)

I'd wish that I could sleep longer, but during the week getting up before 6 is a necessity for me. I start work sometime between 6:30 and 6:45 am. *sigh*

I just got my first Lush product from my friend Shika and love it. It smells like American Smarties (the sugarish candy, not the chocolate stuff, hee) and I can't wait to use it in my next bath. They just opened up a tiny shop here in Chicago, the stuff is made in the Canadian shop and brought over. Someday I'll check it out either here or in London.

The variety of smells the shop has is amazing and they seem so real. There's one I adore that smells like refresher sweets and I'm always tempted to take a bite.

Have you seen the website? (http://www.lush.co.uk/system/index.html). There's some gorgeous stuff in there, not as good as going to the store of course but still nice to look at. There's a worldwide site too but it's not working just now.
