Most important things first, happy birthday to two people.
marrymehowie and
kirsch. I hope you both have fantastic days.
Kayleigh got a new computer for Christmas, so guess who ended up installing her internet yet again? Yes, that would be me. Of course it took ages because she hadn't written down any of the settings for her ISP so we had to try and set up a new connection by memory and just couldn't. In the end I signed her up for a cheaper ISP then literally seconds later realised why the Virgin username was wrong meaning she had two ISPs she could use. Thankfully I cancelled one so things worked out in the end, but really she's 19. I shouldn't have to do this for her now, but she is my baby sister and she made me hot chocolate with marshmallows for a bribe so I'll let her off.
That was last night and today is all about taking down the tree which I'll be sad about. The house always looks so bare once they're down. What I won't be sad about is the binmen finally coming today. Due to the holidays being on the weekend they haven't been since before Christmas so I've just had to lug out 10 full binbags, a huge box filled with rubbish and the wheelie bin. Seeing the garden path again is a novelty I tell you.
I'm at New Years eve reading back in the flist now so this is late but I just had to say. I think JC looked great and I loved his short trousers. There you go, my very small contribution to the debate ;) I'm still working my way through the SeSa and am still blown away by the quality on stories on offer. I'm being strict with myself and going by recipient which means I'm trying most pairings though there's always that happy sigh when I get back to the ones I love. A case of enjoying new things but home always being the best, and I hope that makes sense to more people but me *g*
I think that's mostly it. I've stopped smiting Amazon as I realised I'd hit the send order when all are available button so the late delivery is my fault which means I can stop accosting the pretty postman, though on other thoughts maybe not as he is very pretty. I'm still working my way through the Jump Street DVDs and craving good JS slash and have opened my WIP file on Silver and narrowed the choices down to fixing the JuC the first I wrote for SeSa or finishing the Boxes sequel.
I've also being messing with PS again because it's addictive which explains the crack GIP, with the keywords, Chris can be pink too, because he so can. Actually I did all of the guys but have icon angst as I can't upload the weird things. I may have to put them on my icon bar on my actual LJ, then I can laugh at will at hulk Justin, berry Joey, jaundiced Lance and freezing JC. Chris is perfect as usual ;) Or I could end up deleting them all which is more likely.

Anyway... hi sis lol

Date: 2005-01-04 12:51 pm (UTC)Poor Clark. It's horrible when our computers die, they get sicker and sicker then one day they're gone :( It'll be a sad day if he does go, I just hope your dad still has Plume.
I was smiting Amazon for a long time because I'd arranged things well in advance for the stuff I ordered. I contacted
Anyway, and hi back. I'm just about at your new year post now so will be reading about the clan soon I suspect.
And oh my god! Your icon! That's perfect!

Date: 2005-01-04 01:00 pm (UTC)and you know, if you're really big on icons and don't have a webspace to upload the extras, you might want to check out greatestjournal -- I have one, but I've never used it; but they let you have 1000 icons (!) -- it'd at least be a place to put them, and even if direct-linking is blocked, you could still link to them so people could see what you've made :)

Date: 2005-01-04 01:31 pm (UTC)Now that's a good idea about greatestjournal. I do have a website but it'll be more convenient just to load them at GJ especially as I have one already. I just hope I can remember what my name was over there, I don't think I ever used it.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Date: 2005-01-04 01:35 pm (UTC)I was a little unsure as they're not like my usual style but you're right. The boys are so pretty it's hard to make bad icons with them as the subject.
I hate the period after the holidays. Everything is so flat with only bills to look forward to. I second that wish we get some wonderful sparkle to squee about. I'll take a sighting, CD, song, anything just now.

Date: 2005-01-04 02:28 pm (UTC)It's fun trying different styles...and it is hard to make them look bad.

Date: 2005-01-04 02:30 pm (UTC)That would be wonderful! You know I'm just sitting here messing about, I may do a pic post of my own.
Bring on the sparkle I say!

And us baby sisters will use that forever...well, when we're not intimidated to live up to the high standards our older sisters have set. ;-รพ
I'm still working my way through the SeSa and am still blown away by the quality on stories on offer.
Let me know if you find any with angst/owies? I know I should read them all, but...I'm lazy. And picky, too. ;-)

Date: 2005-01-04 04:34 pm (UTC)It figures little sisters the world over will know how to manipulate their older siblings ;)
Have you read the one where Chris has the operation on his knees? It's really good and the death fic of course. I really should get titles shouldn't I? I'm lazy too.
I'll add you to my JS burning list if you like. I'm going to try burning them for Nic and Bettina so doing the same for you would be no problem.

No...where can I find it?! *careful DQ squee* (first I thought you meant my story, but then I realized I never finished that one *g*)
and the death fic of course.
What deathfic? *intrigued*
I really should get titles shouldn't I?
That would be good. Not that I should talk, I can't stop creating OCs and I don't seem to be able to finish long stories either.
I'm lazy too.
Well, at least the company is great. *g*

That would be most kind of you (and not to mention, like, id luv u 4eva if u did that!!!1!111!!1111 *g*)

Date: 2005-01-04 10:04 pm (UTC)The deathfic one is 4am (http://www.juppy.org/santa/stories.php?ForAuthorID=44&Year=2004) which is also good.
I'll post again if I can think of any more but that's it off hand.
Consider yourself on the JS list, now I just hope I can actually burn the things.

If you can't, that's all right. I feel honored just to be on the list. ;-)
