I'm all full of guilt. Due to an unfortunate accident last night a good proportion of our tropical fish were wiped out. Goodbye Jaws the silver fin shark, Corey the cat fish, clown loach 1, 2 and 3. Hex and Chloe are still missing presumed dead. The remaining clown loach #4 breaks my heart. He used to do everything with his posse, swimming around and foxing us by sleeping on their sides so we thought they'd died. Now he just sits all lonely next to the log and mourns his lost brothers.
Then I nearly burnt the house down by switching on the grill instead of the oven when cooking tea. I wondered why smoke was billowing out. I'm a danger to the world I swear. However I was amused when James came chasing after me when I went running into the kitchen as he thought I was choking, because yeah, if I was choking to death I'd make sure to go do it in the kitchen *g*
I managed to catch up on the flist too ( skip 800, ouch) and see the reunion challenge is going ahead which is great. I'll sign up for that for sure.
Now a meme as I wait for James to come home so we can go buy some food. Grocery shopping on a Saturday, kill me now.
POST 6 RANDOM THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THEY ARE, JUST POST 6 FACTS OR STATEMENTS ABOUT YOU
(1)I don't own a pair of socks and hate wearing shoes. Shoes are the devil and I'll be barefoot whenever possible, including going outside to take out the bin etc.
(2)When I was young I collected Hardy Boys books and still have hundreds of them in the spare room. I have all the original series except one which I could never find and most of the case files. I even wrote a bad h/c story for English class and used Frank and Joe as the characters. At least it wasn't a bad incest story, not that I'd ever read or think of that kind of thing of course ;)
(3)Before I can sleep I have to open the window, switch on the fan and fold my pillow in half. I need white noise and cold or I'm awake all night, the pillow thing is just a thing, I've no idea why I do it just even the idea of sleeping on a non folded pillow freaks me out.
(4)I hate sea food with a passion. Crab, lobster, cockles, so disgusting. Winkles look like snots, how can anyone eat them?
(5)I met James at a nightclub when we were dancing to the novelty song, Music Man. So if we have a song it's that, romantic right? *g*
(6)I had a major crush on Mags from A-Ha when I was a teen. Morten did nothing for me, but Mags was wonderful. My bedroom walls were covered in A-Ha posters with not an inch of wall to be seen.
There you go, aren't you glad to know that? ;)
Before I go have this meme too, late but what the heck.
