Go you, that was a fantastic rant, and not just ranty but actually point-making.

And you are so right in your points; I couldn't agree more. That sort of shallowness is just *wrong*, and I know I can be shallow myself (mmmmmmmm, pretty!) but TRY not to be shallow like the haters, and hate myself when I catch my views leaning that way...

..Anyway, Thank You, Terri, and thank you even more for introducing me to the Chris love in the first place, which drew me into the fandom, and MAN, where the heck would I be without fandom? Someplace a lot less wonderful with a lot fewer wonderful friends, definitely!
