There's god damn mouse in the room with me.

I kept seeing something moving out of the corner of my eye and eventually saw it was a mouse. It's not that I'm scared of the things but I don't want it in the room with me.

To ward off the potential heart attack I'm about to have as I jump at every damn movement.

First car. Was an vauxhall astra called BB.

My mom has read that catnip around the baseboards will keep mice away. Another source I read said that they hate strong smells. Go to the chemist, and buy the cheapest, strongest-smelling perfume you can find, and sprinkle it around the baseboards.

As you say, you don't have to be afraid of them to not want them in the house. Good luck.

Can't you also use peppermint? Or teatree oil?

Call the council. They'll sort it out. My Mother had field mice in her airing cupboard when she lived in the country and pest control wouldn't do anything because it's an endangered species. Going to the loo in the middle of the night and discovering a itty bitty little mouse sitting on the windowsill watching you pee? Oh, you should have heard the screams. *shudders*

I think I have teetree oil. I'll look for it as soon as I'm back from school.

Calling the council is on my list of things to do too. Like I said I'm not scared of the thing but seeing it scuttling across the room and darting from under the couch was freaking me out.

Your poor mother, I think I would have screamed too.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try the perfume one for sure and have a look for some catnip too I think.

I know it's only a little field mouse but seeing it run out from under the couch was freaking me out.
