I'm reposting this as I'm an idiot and changed it to private before I went out.

I'm putting out tentative feelers here prompted by a comment by satsuma77 but it's something I've been thinking of for a while.

All you Brit gals, I'm thinking of interlock, trumpeterofdoom, simply_fly_away, seiyaharris, satsuma77 urbanoceanix nopsued and buttercupsleep if you're around.

How would you feel about a meet up sometime this year?

Obviously I know some of you much better than others but I'm not scary, promise. A shy dork maybe but I'm more than willing to put people up. I have marionettes people. Check out _jules_ post for marionette fun ;) I also have more footage and DVDs you could shake a stick at as well as other non sparkly fannish stuff. If you're into X Files, Trek, Mutant X, Angel, Buffy and The Sentinel anyway.

Which means none sparkly people are welcome too, heck, anyone would be welcome.

Or another option is to meet for dinner in the midlands somewhere, being as I live in the frozen north *g* I don't know, maybe book into a hotel for a night for a mini sparkly con.

Like I said I'm not doing dates or anything yet, I'm just feeling things out because I'd love to see you all :)

I am up for a mini con, oh yes. Either at your place (poor James and Corey!) or somewhere in the middle. What about York, that's about mid-way to Scotland, it's it? Find a nice hotel, do dinner and stuffs.

I have sparkly DVDs and footage too, and Due South on DVD and the whole of The Sentinel on video (minus one episode, I think). And QAF (UK and US).

I think it's an excellent idea, Terri. I'm sure seiyaharris could drag saffronra along for the ride, too.

York would be awesome, especially as that's where trumpeterofdoom is based. I'd be more than willing to have people here but it is a long way to travel, especially from down South.

I'm thinking a weekend or even overnight would be wonderful, with dinner and DVD watching and I could even bring my Nsync dreamphone game so I could have a game at last ;)

I'm really quite excited now :)

Am staying here for Easter hols, except for the 11th-15th April where I'm down in London to do the tourist thing with my friend. Also, hello. Another shy dork/geek here. And I have *NSYNC Uno! And I have all the official BSB footage if you don't have it, including a clip of them doing promo in the Asia-Pacific region back in '96 (babies!) that I don't think anyone else has.

I have no issue with personal space, but others might. I mean, seiyaharris (whom I seem to be making plans for and she'll probably kick my arse, but I'm not scared ;)) and I can share a bed and then with someone on the sofa, it saves money. *shrugs*

We're really in the very first planning stages just now, but it has to before the end of June as trumpeterofdoom is going home then. However, giogio may be coming at the beginning of June so some time that month looks good, especially if you're here as I'd really love to see you. *happy excited hugs*
