turpsI failed mam 101 today when I totally forgot that it was Corey's class trip. Which he needed a packed lunch for, and of course there was nothing packed lunch related in the house at all. James was on early shift so he couldn't go to the shop so I got Kay to go and ended up making sandwiches and stuff about five minutes before he had to leave. He had a good time but nearly fainted while he was there which is rather worrying. I suspect It'll be the heat because he's never been able to cope with that. Now he's at Cubs, the last one before they break up for summer, but his dad's there too so I'm not worried.
Now, things I was going to say before seeing the picture of the shirt of much red goodness yesterday. Hmmmm, the red shirt of much goodness. Someone needs to make me close the page the hq is on because I just can't. Anyway, James and Corey had much fun at Alton Towers, only problem being they'd bought disabled passes which entitled them to go to the ride exits and get on that way when they showed the special wrist band. Thing is no one told them that, which meant they qued normally, two hours for one ride. Plus, some rides James couldn't go on, especially the ones where you feet dangle because his leg would have flown off. ( and I know it's sick and wrong but I keep giggling at the image in my head, of people watching his leg fly off, maybe landing in the water *g* ) Because he couldn't go on Corey wasn't allowed on either, which was wrong too. Now if that had happened to me I would have come home and bitched on here and in AIM. Not James, he went to customer services and complained, resulting in getting his money back plus four free tickets. He has the brass neck for anything I swear.
I've had so much fun these last few days, though due to being nosy and my inability not to click on a link I ended up reading a LotRs rps fic yesterday. A story where Orlando was being abused by his boyfriend and OMG, tried to kill himself. It was long, it was weepy, it was insane, it was a bloody WIP! so now I'll never know if Orli wakes up to see his ex lover Viggo sitting crying at his bedside.
But back to the fun. Thank you to everyone posting pictures, reports and footage, you all rock and helped make me feel that little bit closer to Chicago this weekend. Now I need to gostare at the red shirt picture of much goodness, no the trickc pic of much goodness, no the.... do something.
