Last of the five things

kirsch asked for my top five stories that aren't trickc, and man, was it hard narrowing it down. I read and enjoy all the Chris pairings and dip into the others too. There's so much good stuff out there I can't see the point in limiting yourself. But yes, I did narrow it down in the end to these, but I could have listed so many more.

The Wednesday Thing. Trickyfish. This is my comfort story and I read it over and over.
Ever After. Choey. The story isn't finished yet but it's so good that I don't care.
And Then You Wake Up. Timbertrick. I love Timbertrick because it can be anything from edgy wrongness to sweet and innocent. This story is the latter.
Venice Beach JuC. An AU I enjoyed a lot.
Talliswood Trickyfish and JuC AU. I love this story. I know it has its faults but they seem to fade away. I love the magic, the interaction. Chris with his boggart blood, Jayce with his feathered hair and aloofness, Lansten and his braids, so powerful but loving so deeply. Justin, sex obsessed and wonderful and Joe, solid and the best friend anyone could have.

I uploaded two stories to my site yesterday, the trickc I just posted here and a Sentinel story I wrote for sentinelsecrets here. I also took down some things that needed to come down.

Today we've been to Newcastle to see the tall ships again. They're so beautiful, especially the really old ones, some of which are 200 years plus. You can see how they've battled the waves for decades, so much history trapped within the ship. Then we went on to the hotel at Tynemouth and I booked my room for Connotations. Who knows I might get lucky and not get the single broomcupboard room this year *g*

Talliswood is one of my all-time favorites. I love it as a fantasy story, even wihout the fanfiction aspects. The first time I read it I was still pretty clueless about Nsync; I'm not sure how I even found it. It wasn't finished yet at the time and I kept going back to see if there was a new chapter, and reading the whole thing over if there wasn't.

I adore Talliswood. I have it on my hand held so I can read favourite sections over and over. It's just so wonderful and I get caught up in the universe every time I read. I could give you a list of favourite parts pages long and still not get them all.

Thankfully it was finished when I found it, I can't image having to wait for new parts.
