Oct. 28th, 2005 04:49 pmI don't know if you'll see this, but happy birthday
giddyupnow! I hope you have a great day!
James did the unthinkable last night when he unplugged our broadband. Yes, that needs emphasis because he turned off our broadband. It seems it needed to be disconnected while he unwired one of the videos from the mess of cables that's behind our tv unit, and man, he took hours to sort it out. I ended up ironing and that's just not right. Though I was watching Queer Eye at the time so it wasn't such a huge loss. JM, sorry I missed you again...sigh.
Today my friend called over and when her son went to show me something online he clicked off my page, all my tabs, gone. What he wanted to show me cheered me up though, it was this. Picture the scene. I was talking about Nsync, as I tend to do, and David, my friend's 11 year old son asked if he could show me something. I said sure, cried inside when my tabs were shut down then watched as he loaded this site with a song about how the Backstreet Boys are gay. He knew every word, was happily singing along with this huge grin on his face because to him it was the funniest thing ever. To the tune of IWITW We are on fire, we have desires, but one is that way, one backstreet boy is gay. But we don't want to be mean, since now he's a queen. Don't ask me, which backstreet boy is gay. Tell me who, ain't saying it's AJ etc etc.
He loved it and thought it was a huge joke, I went to my happy place ;)
Then after he went the sky man arrived and he was so pretty. Flippy red hair, lovely clothes and damn but was he flexible. He was tuning in the sky box and he had his leg folded right up to his chest and the other bent under him and it was just, guh. Not a bad way to spend two hours I tell you. Plus the added bonus of having Sky Plus now so I can record all the stuff I like. My plan is to get it scheduled to record all my crap before James gets home, maybe even have a few hours of the pretty taped before then. Which reminds me. Mutant X is on at 8am, what better way to ease your way into the day than with that show? It's first season too which is my all time favourite :)
Okay, emails then editing I think, but first, a cup of coffee in the Gromet mug with it's glowing red nose. It's the little things that keep me happy, man :)
