As this is Moffet's first Christmas I wondered if she'd try and climb the tree. She hasn't so far, but does seem to enjoy .

Make sure she's not eating it, yes? It can do horrendous things to a cat's lower digestive tract, due to the fact that it doesn't stretch when the colon is contracting and stuff. Daniel used to like to eat string, which is bad for similar reasons.

you beat me to it - although tinsel's probably less nightmarish because it's shorter strands - lametta [sp?] - the long strands of foil angel-s hair - is the very devil. [also fake hair, which is thin enough to cut and do really nasty damage - I clean very thoroughly after hairdressing ...]

But to return to my first thought : Demon cat! there's a deomn cat under your tree!!

Nope, it's okay. We have a horn that gets blown to teach her not to touch things, so she keeps well away now. It's just that first time she looked so guilty I had to take a picture *g*

It's adorable, really. Mine likes to paw at the plastic candy canes I hang up every year. Otherwise, she's too lazy and just plays. ;-)

Our cat eats all kinds of stupid stuff, gets her nose into every little thing. We have to both child and cat-proof the house, it's ridiculous.

Whilst painting the living room I made sure that there was ample time for the paint on the bottom of the wall to dry before the girls went anywhere near it. Of course I walk out of the room to get a drink and when I come back she cat is sitting patting the wet paint with her paw, gah.

I was really worried that Moffet would climb the tree but so far she's content to bat at the baubles and had that nibble at the tinsel. Hopefully Lancecat will be a non climber too.

Moffet's so lovely! Has she discovered the joys of batting at tree ornaments yet? I have to watch Cat Thing went she's around trees. She knows she's not supposed to bat at the pretty sparkly things, but she finds them quite irresistible, especially when no one's watching! ;)

You don't put a glass of anything on a table here and walk away, if you do you'll come back to Katie sitting next to it with her face stuck in the glass or a trail of wet footprints. I woke up the other morning to find her sitting on my bedside table trying to knock my alarm clock onto the floor. She's a brat and we'd be lost without her.

I'm feeling a little better, doc said I just have to wait for my tubes to clear and hopefully the pain will go away. Feeeeeeeeh.
