Happy JuC day to those that celebrate it!

After you get past all the Chris pairings, threesomes, foursomes and gsf, JuC is my pairing of choice, so you all should celebrate and have fun today.

I did ficlet for the day, but need someone to britpick/check it over and tell me it doesn't suck. I know I know, talk about being late. Any volenteers? It's short, not even 3000 words. What can I say, it's the thought that counts right?

Totally dorky comment, but do you say britpick meaning people should make sure it's American enough? Because I've never heard the term used in that way, and I'm a giant dorky linguist and these things interest me.

I do. I like to have a check that I haven't let any Brit words or phrasing through. It's how I've always used that term, I hope I haven't been using it wrong all this time....eeep.

No, not using it wrong at all. It makes perfect sense that way, I think I just encountered it in HP fandom mostly, where people were trying to make sure their stories sounded British enough.
