I had to go to town with James earlier. We may have had a sort of tiff and he left me sulking in the car. When he came back he had a copy of Nsync's debut album as a peace offering. Which will be perfect to stay in the car as I have a copy at home.

My aunt did visit last night. I started to describe what went on and why, but when you have to scroll down the page to read and still haven't finished, well it's a sign. Basically, she's trying to screw mam over. Mam has the law 100% on her side but my aunt doesn't see it that way and there's threats about opening cans of worms if mam goes to her solicitor. We've all told her to go because what my aunt wants to do is insulting and wrong. The timing of this sucks, both Chris and I will be away this weekend and I know for a fact my cousin will come through to talk to mam. So I've told her to tell my cousin to come on Monday when we can all be there as backup, whether she will or not I don't know.

But anyway. Come play icon memes with me. Yes, I know this was doing the rounds recently, but who cares? It's my chance to make you use yet another img src tag.

Hmmm, I suppose I'd better make sure the clothes we want are actually washed too. That would help.

So yeah. I'm off to spend the weekend at pensnest's with the other sparkly slashers, where I'll overdose on squee and silver space bulls with red eyes, while my boys tour London on a boy's weekend. The mind boggles what they'll get up to, really it does. Of course, they could say the same about us *g*

(2) I don't like that icon either. I did that whole series of icons in that style and Lance's came out terrible. I just have problems making Lance icons full stop. I've never managed one I like. I blame him personally ;)

Do you think we could get JC to do the little "shakira" hip/body shake/dance thing from her new video? Complete w/ the low slung pants and the tummy showing? He can even skip the "boob bounce" and I'm sure that as a fandom we'd (explode) be willing to pay him if we could record it.

James is a Fine Chap (and a wise husband, obviously).

This icon meme... now that we all have So Many Icons, it's difficult and requires much pondering. Possibly I should elbow my son away from his Giant Screen and get a view of all the userpics at once, but that would cause rebellion, and as I intend him to do some (more!) housework this evening, heh, I shall refrain.

Also, I do not know how to make the pics appear. At least, I *could*, though it'd be a pain from this computer, find a longwinded way of doing it, but surely there must be a simple way... Am ignorant. Sigh.

Hmm.

1. Favourite: Chris :D (by luxshine) the adorable little cartoon drawing, too cute for words.
2. Least favourite: Lance orange - yep, he's definitely the wrong way round, because his 'lazy' eye is his left one. (I have spent many hours gazing besottedly made for you, particularly, but it's a very nice icon.

The thing was, it had seemed much easier watching it on tv. A shake of the hips, a wiggle of the butt. If Shakira could do it, surely so could JC. Except he couldn't; at all.

Not that he hadn't tried. Many times, for like hours.

Sitting with his head in his hands, pointedly ignoring his reflection in the floor length mirrors that faced his bed, JC felt like flopping down and beating his feet against his black silk sheets. It wasn't fair. So he didn't have Shakira's boobs, and his ass was less than rounded, more Justin than Lance, but still...a shimmy shouldn't beat him like this.

Determined, he stood and faced the mirrors once more. Hips first, a gentle sway, add in an ass wiggle, move the chest and arms. He could do it all, except not together apparently and he scowled at himself in the mirror as his body moved like he was being attacked by a swarm of bees.

"Smooth, JC. Smooth."

Behaving like the professional he was, JC kept dancing while flipping Chris the bird. "Like you could do any better."

Unusually Chris didn't reply. In fact he seemed quite incapable of speech as JC wiggled across the room. Which was interesting and JC couldn't help moving just that little bit faster, shimmying perfectly now, his body responding to the blatant stare.

Later, pants down and gasping, JC practiced his shimmying once more, deciding yes, he'd mastered the move as Chris reponded with a moan.

I don't know what way you use usually to get the user pics, but I use the img src tag and then the url of the pic which you can find by right clicking on the icon and clicking properties.

(1) I LOVE that one. If I ever changed my dafault it would be to that.
(2) I totally agree. That icon went badly wrong and Lance looks insane ( I'm not keen on Justin and JC either but Lance is the worst )
