I'm amused that my flist has about five of these all in a row, so of course I'll add to that ;)

How many times has someone on your friends list posted about something and you were really confused, but you didn't want to ask because you knew you SHOULD know? How many times have you felt guilty asking a close LJ friend a question that should be obvious?

Well, here's your chance.

If you've missed a few things, missed an entry and are confused, ask meany thing. Even something EXTREMELY basic, like where I live! I'm not allowed to get even slightly irritated at any of the questions - we've all missed things before. In turn, though, you must repost this in your own journal. ;)

You don't have to repost though, unless you're a big old lemming like me.

In other news, with a flurry of emails and comments it seems I'm having a gathering at my house on the weekend ending the 16th of July. There'll be more concrete details later, but if anyone wants to come, feel free *g*

I had him one week before my 22nd birthday. Thinking about it now 21 seems awfully young, but back then it wasn't at all.

What on earth is a bootsale? I mean, here, a boot sale is when boots are on sale, but no one can buy that many boots, man. *laugh*

LOL. No, they really couldn't.

A bootsale is where people, sort of sell stuff out of the boots of their cars. What happens is we pay £10 to get into a field with a load of other cars. The cars line up around the field then each car has a space to display what they're selling. Most people have callapsible tables or else just set things out on the floor.

It's a good way of getting rid of unwanted items. There's usually about 100 + cars at each sale, and they're advertised well so a lot of buyers turn up.

Ahhh, a flea market! *laugh* (and I can't explain why we call it a flea market. There aren't fleas. At least, there aren't supposed to be fleas.)

I also had this cute little image of people putting items in boots and you walk around and buy little trinkets out of boots. Except hopefully not boots people have worn because ew.

Oh man! You know, if I'd shared the popslash fandom with you, I think I would have come right away. As it is and seeing I'm still kinda the shy type sometimes, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable in a room filled with girls from another fandom, ie talking popslashese which I don't speak, if it makes sense?

Also, if everything goes according to plan, the next weekend - in July I mean - I should be heading to Lyon for a little slash gathering of my own, so maybe it would have been a little too much, anyway ;-)
