It's the FiLs 60th birthday today. So, happy birthday FiL! We're going out to dinner tonight to celebrate, and I'm so looking forward to it, like really. All the in laws will be there and it's in a family pub/restaurant because of taking the kids, so, that's fun right there. The BiL suggested he picked us up in his mini bus ( he's a coach driver ) which would allow James to drink. But the first rule in dealing with in laws is always to have an escape route handy, which means taking our own car.

I also need to get Corey's things ready for Cub camp tomorrow, and go to the doctors this afternoon. Which means of course I'll watch Supernatural and House once this is posted. But not before I post 8 random facts, because digital_diva wanted me to.



(1) I'm sitting in my nightclothes right now. A pink nightie and fluffy white slippers for those interested. How much I need to do seems to be proportional to the procrastination levels I can achieve.

(2) I can't drive and have no desire to learn. The roads are scary, man. If I could learn to drive and not have to use the roads I would, as I can't, well it's walking or being driven for me.

(3) I've never smoked a cigarette, not even a sly drag. It just never had an appeal.

(4) I've just had a packet of broccoli pasta for dinner. It was very nice.

(5) I re read Little Men yesterday. It's such a relaxing book, full of hi jinks and gay boys. But not in the way I like them sadly.

(6) I keep wondering if I should cut my hair. I've never had short hair but as I suck at styling it, I imagine just cutting it to my shoulders at least.

(7) I'm not keen on meat that looks like animal, chicken legs or bones and seeing blood can put me off in an instant. The worst is things with eyes, they look at you and just no.

(8) I've never been outside of the UK. This is very sad, but when I'll all skinny, or realistically, much smaller, I intend to remedy that and come bother you all. I gather addies at Christmas for a reason you know ;)

That's a very good rule. Must try to convince the parents of this. Also, #3 - me neither, and I want your #4 now. ;)
