turpsA few days ago James asked if I'd download some porn for one of his friends, but not the kind of porn I like, he stressed that many times for some reason. I was a little wtf?! because it's not like I know this guy well, and there was an added thing of him sitting in my living room with his son not a week before, and now I was supposed to download him porn. I gave a non committal answer and that was that until this morning when James asked if I'd got anything yet. Which no, I hadn't. So, he asked if I'd do it today because he's had the discs for a while and the friend was asking about it.
He asked nicely so I said sure, I knew where to get porn, but my goodness. It's not that easy. I'm sitting looking at the torrent sites and there's all these titles, and how the heck am I supposed to pick? What if I download I Fucked Your Mother and he thinks I think he looks like someone who loves mother fucking, or Big Tit Patrol 4 Do I think he's a boob man? Brazilian Butt Fiesta An anal freak? Stop or I'll Squirt, Ass Whores From Planet Squirt I don't know!
James owes me for this. Big time. So I come to you for help. Can anyone recommend, or even better send me het porn? Save me from the insanity, please. I'll love you forever.
We did go to the beach last night, coming home way after Corey's bedtime, but sometimes bedtimes aren't as important as moonlit walks along a beach on a beautiful night. Coming home we were listening to one of the late night talk shows on the radio, you know, the kind where people call in with their problems or to chat. I usually avoid those as I hate people making idiots of themselves, and man, radio call in shows bring out the morons every time. Like last night. This girl phoned in, said she had a problem as she thought her boyfriend of two years was bisexual. The presenter asked why, and she said, because I caught him wearing my mam's pink slippers. I was like, OMG! Did she really just say that? She went on that he looked at himself in the mirror lots, waxed his chest and last week had gone to a local gay club with a load of his friends. The presenter suggested that going to a gay club meant nothing, but no, she was convinced he was bisexual, because he wore pink slippers and that's a total giveaway. Suggestions he was metrosexual were met by silence because she obviously didn't know what that meant, instead she harped on about pink slippers and how being bisexual was wrong as she was a catholic and had been brought up to know being gay is a sin. As is wearing pink slippers if you're male apparently. I was glad to get home as I was seconds from texting in to tell her she's a moron and shouldn't be allowed to open her mouth.
We went to the school today to find out what's going on with Corey and those girls, and had the satisfaction of seeing one of them go from normal to nervous when we walked into the classroom. I shouldn't find stressing kids satisfying but I found out they kicked him on Monday and punched him in the back yesterday. They're being kept in for ten minutes after class for the next week and their parents informed, then if it happens again more steps will be taken.

There was one call that was semi-famous among my friends; a guy called in insisting he had a problem because there were flies living in his head and how he couldn't therefore sleep at night, so he spent all his nights in IRC. When people view / purchase porn, they are supporting an industry that rapes and enslaves hundreds of thousands of women a year. I would tell the guy to find his own damn porn, you will not be a party to the enslavement of women. (Because what we write is erotica -- loving titilation -- not porn, which is violence and degradation of women.)

I can't stand to listen to talk radio, it drvies me batshit, for the exact reason you stated. But, last night after I put the boys to bed, I turned on the radio (not a talk show, just a regular station) and the night guys were talking about this chick that one of them hooked up with on MySpace. And apparently, she completely misrepresented herself in her pics. The guy walked right after they introduced themselves. It was a whole big thing on for like 20 minutes and the chick even called in to the station about it and they put her on the air. (they never mentioned her name though) And I was feeling rather bad for her that they were airing allt his stuff about her, until I heard her talking and then I did the whole *headdesks* because OMG! she's an embarrassment to women across the world!
And YAY for making those girls all nervous this morning! I've no problem putting the fear in people when it comes to my kids, I don't care how old they are. So, even if you didn't do anything but walk into class with him and then back out, YAY that they are thinking twice about putting their hands and feet on someone else's body! *grrrrr*

As for Corey, I meant to mention when you first posted about this that I agree with you 100% about not encouraging him to hit back or hit first. Even in cases where one is standing up for another. My boss, Pam, has 2 kids (Max, 10, and Amelia, 8). Max has been getting in trouble lately for pushing kids around but it turns out they were picking on his little sister so he stood up to them and now they leave her alone. I think it's so sweet that he wanted to protect and defend his sister but I still don't think that makes pushing the other kids around okay.
