My sentiment exactly! I'm honestly beginning to get a tiny bit tired of hearing people lament about how no one is writing popslash anymore, because when I look at my flist that just isn't true. People are writing and and lots of people want to read it too. I don't know if it's less lively than back in the Good Old Days(tm) since I wasn't here then, but it's lively enough for me.

Absolutely! I can regret some departed names, people who've written glorious stories and moved on to something else, but there are plenty of people still enjoying the popslasherie, and lots of challenges and events to keep people inspired to write. It's *so* much better than ST:TNG fandom was for me.
