Jul. 18th, 2006 11:10 pmIt isn't only Josh's birthday today. It's also
dazzlingstar's special day. I hope it's going great for you, honey. *mwah* Also, I want to send birthday wishes to the lovely
iconis. I'm sorry I wasn't around on the actual day. *smooches you*
I had an empty house today. Just me and the animals, no guests, just random remains of a sparkly weekend. An assortment of pop bottles on the counter, foil wrapped cake, the wire used for laptops snaking across the floor. But man, it was a good weekend. Maybe the laptops wouldn't connect to the internet ( though we solved that problem just after interlock, nopseud, pen and bun went home ) or would only connect to the tv in black and white. We still had movies. The Cooler, Harry and Max....eeeep! Trips to see Pirates. ( Because the film is so popular I ended up across the aisle from the others. I still felt a backwash of squee from them all *g* ) Trips to the beach where Bun made a stained glass picture out of sticks and seaweed with many willing helpers looking for material. Backstreet and Nsync were watched, and much was discussed around my kitchen table. Just chilling out with cups of tea and chat...oh. That reminds me. Pen gave me my own red shirt of incredible hotness Chris mug! So much with the glee. She also brought lollies complete with worms and scorpions and stuff like that. I made James eat those.
Sadly there was no badfic late night reading, but the idea of a lamp archive was poked at a little. Of course, that brings us to the thorny question if permission would be given to feature the story
Only KC was left after Sunday afternoon, but that was fine as KC was a wonderful guest. We explored graveyards, and she read to me. That was cool, listening to Flopping the Little Guy, Sunshine, Pixie Chris and Into the Fire. Much with the internal squee.
Thank you, ladies. I can't wait for the next one :)

*smooch*
