Jul. 30th, 2006 09:36 pmI guess when you're getting texts asking where you are, it's time to update *g*
Last week was spent in the company of
msktrnanny who had gone but then came back again. We explored many old buildings, took buses, walked, talked, discussed the differences between Brit and American terms ( dude. I thought I had jam and jelly down. Jam = jelly right? So wrong ) Was read aloud to, and was a pathetic navigator when James lent KC his car for the day. I was also much impressed by the LJ network which meant I knew about Lance within minutes despite being nowhere near a computer at the time. Go LJ network of info!
Apart from that it was Corey's hospital visit about his feet. ( It seems his tendons are tight and his feet too loose. So he has stretching exercises to do each day before being followed up next month ) My hospital visit. Only 4 pounds lost which I wasn't impressed about because I tried hard this month. Maureen was fine though and suspects I'm retaining a lot of water due to the heat. Which hopefully means when it cools down pounds will just wash away *g* A day spent at the air show yesterday, which was interesting, if a little hot and crowded. Plus a visit to see my brother as it was his birthday. Today it's been a bbq in our garden and flist catch up time -- again.
Due to a post on one of the BSB comms, I watched Don't Want You Back, and dude. Kevin writhing on that pole/ladder affair is still one of the hottest things ever! There's arms and thighs and he's writhing and upside down at one point and how can anyone not love him?! So hot! Writhing!. Watching that made me think of Into the Fire which has one of my favourite Kevin's ever, and is a kick ass au too with characters I love. This line slays me every time "You fucker," JC says, his voice rough. "If you ever tell me to run off and leave you again, I'll kill you myself." Just, so much love.
Okay, I'll stop with the journey through my mind now. In fact, I may take the laptop and go read outside a while. There's a blanket on the grass, the sky is just starting to darken, there's a jug of juice and leftover veggie sausages. A fine plan I think.
Before I go though, I think I may have missed
xoverau's birthday. If so, happy birthday, honey. Sorry I'm late. *mwah*

Date: 2006-08-01 05:26 pm (UTC)I've missed you too. I have so much to catch up on. I was very lax while I had company, and after too to be honest. What with days out in the sun.
I need to mail you and catch up with your news.
