turpsPoor Silver went to the computer hospital this morning. When I switched him on the monitor kept flashing, showing that the computer had actually started fine, but you could only see that in second long flashes. Calling for advice it was suggested that the graphic card may have gone, or the cpu or an overheating problem. Anyway, he's at the computer hospital now and hopefully they'll fix him. They said it should be done by tomorrow, so, fingers crossed, he'll be home soon.
But I have the laptop right? Wrong, because last week James sold it. It's only because the buyer asked for extra time to pay that I have it now. It has to be sent away later today. But, on the bright side, selling that means we have the money for Silver's repair bills.
At least the tv looks good tonight *g*
