Finding good House fic is difficult. Finding good House fic including Chase seems almost impossible. I don't like House/Wilson, so look for House/Chase, Foreman/Chase or gen. But actually finding it? It just shows how spoiled I am in my main fandoms.
James took me to the carvery last night. Turkey and all you can eat veggies. Hmmmm. Such a delicious meal for a low fat content. Then we went to pick up Corey, and ended up staying at my friend's until after 1am. We were playing this computer game based on a music quiz. There was only 4 buzzers, so Corey and I shared. Which led to much mockery when an Nsync song played and we got it wrong. He was in charge of the control and thought it was Backstreet, so buzzed in before I could stop him. Kevin kept coming up as an answer for some reason, at one point Kevin followed by Nick, which is obviously a sign that my Backstreet OTP is meant to be! ;)
As my other post said, I'm going away on Sat. In some ways I'm looking forward to it, I do like Butlins, especially when you have kids in tow. It's just, the living arrangements worry me. However, I can work past that, I mean, it's still a holiday. Still time away, and we'll go visit the seal sanctuary and the farm and watch the z list entertainment. It'll be fun, really. I won't miss Silver at all, and Tex is going to mam's and arrangements have been made about the fish and cats. I have books and Jordan and a mobile complete with the usual people I stalk. Sorted.
I'm determined the tentacles will be done before I go, as Friday is a write-off for that, that leaves tomorrow and tonight. Which is doable, of course I also have about a million fic tabs to read, but that's doable too. As long as James stays asleep anyway. He came home from work sick today, and now he's all pathetic and needy.
