James went back to work today. At the risk of sounding the biggest bitch ever. It's about bloody time! Being together 24/7 for a month was just too long, and has shown we need time apart at times. To celebrate I'm going to watch some of the downloaded shows on Silver without the inevitable 'I can't hear the tv. *turns it up* Now I can't hear my show *turns up Silver* Why don't you use headphones? Because I don't like them, why can't you just read for half an hour, anything, just let me watch my show!' I can also watch what I like on tv, won't have to listen to a million, I've got a broken hand you know? and do a thousand little things that take me away from what I should/want to be doing.

To be fair, he really was sick over the weekend. A load of time was spent phoning NHS direct and our doctors. He has a nasty stomach bug, but also pain in his arm and chest which was worrying, but it seems it was the bug attacking his muscles. Not that the MiL was convinced about that, phoning at all times saying he should go to casualty. Which comes of love and concern after her own heart problems, but still, annoying.

While he was sick I watched my first episode of CSI. It was late, I was rubbing his back, and it was on tv. The show's never interested me before, but dude. I loved it. I've watched any eps I can since then, in fact I have a date at 11 each night. I go to bed, cuddle under the duvet and watch CSI, frequently being grossed out by what's on screen. I have no idea who most of the people are yet, but I'm enjoying finding out.

On the subject of tv shows. I watched Torchwood, and oh man. So much love. Seriously. Apart from Captain Jack. CAPTAIN JACK! I really liked the new characters and the way the show's set up. So very cool, and you know Jack kept the hand for his own purposes ;)

Yesterday we went shopping for Halloween costumes. Paul, ex A1 boybander, is playing at Kay's club with his new band. ( Kay's roomie and best friend is also sleeping with him now, just to keep up to date with this whole story ) So, there's going to be a halloween themed party, his band, apple bobbing, the lot. Therefore, we needed costumes. Corey and James bought theirs, sadly, I'd probably fit one leg into shop bought costumes so we got some fantastic black spider embroided material and the MiL is making me a cape. I'm going to be a witch. I have a broom, and cobwebs to add to my costume and am contemplating dying my hair a temporary green. I'm just a little worried it'll stay that colour, which wouldn't be good at all. But yeah, it should be a good night.

I've just seen someone mention SeSa. This makes me happy because I so love SeSa time. Now it's just a case of waiting and hoping it's run again. Writing wise I want to do something for [livejournal.com profile] llumi's halloween challenge, and finish the wtf 5 prompt, but after that, I'm clear. I do owe a birthday story, but I need time for that, so sadly it'll probably be pushed back.

Oh my squee! My Heroes download is finally finished!

The most important thing you need to know about CSI is that Grissom is just the best.

The second most important thing is that Greg is totally in love with Grissom.

I am glad that you have finally been lured into the wonderful world of CSI :)

And the third most important thing is to not listen to [livejournal.com profile] seiyaharris when she talks about Greg/Grissom being icky. ;)

Dude! Considering some of the pairings Becca likes, she's a fine one to talk! ;)

From: [identity profile] saffronra.livejournal.com
I know! And anyway, it's not like she's against the pairing really, it's just my all consuming love of Grissom which provokes a knee jerk reaction against him ;)

It's all pretty much academic anyway. The fic in the CSI fandom is overwhelmingly dire. There's like 10 good fics. If that.

Grissom is the guy with beard right? You have to forgive my ignorance, I've seen all of 4 eps now and last nights was weird. It only had two guys I recognised in it, was in a different city and you only saw Nick on the phone. Like I said, weird.

I can totally get behind Greg loving Grissom. I like Greg :)

Now, if only Living wasn't showing 1938617892 seasons at once. I'm so confused!

Grissom is indeed the one with the beard (in a fair few of the seasons at least. He's since shaved it off again which I am somewhat sad about. I liked the beard). He's in charge of the night shift.

Greg is great :)

As far as I can tell with Living, they're currently showing Season 6 on Friday evenings (repeated at some point on the weekend) and season 5 the rest of the time. They will go back to the beginning again soon. Also, Five US has just started showing it from the beginning again.

Don't think it makes you sound like a bitch at all; just a normal human being, dude! Happy James is feeling better, of course, give him a kiss for me, will you?

Torchwood finally premiered? Feels like forever that we've heard about that show, uh? I'll have to add it to my To Download list but not right now... maybe during a hiatus or something.

And I'm so jealous that you get to watc Heroes now! I'm still at work and have to wait and wait and wait. MewantstowatchedHeroes dammit!

James totally got a kiss *g* I have to admit, him being away during the day is so much easier. We totally got tired of each other in the end. He gets his cast off today, so fingers crossed, he'll feel 100 % again.

Yep, Torchwood premiered on Sunday, and dude, sis. So good! I won't spoil, but he mentions he's been pregnant, there's gay kisses, lesbian kisses, nudity, all in the first two eps. It's going to be so much fun.

I didn't actually get to see Heroes last night. I'd just started it up when the best friend came over, and stayed until late. I should have expected it, with the schools being off and all, but still. Just as it was starting, I was nooooo!!!! I've seen it now though, and my love is sky high.

Love the icon btw. Peter looks so damaged, just perfect.

Oh sweetie, I feel your pain, I really do. By the time DH went back to work, even on light duty, I was so ready for it.

And wheee SeSa!!! I can't wait. (I probably should dig out that icon again shortly, eh?) And I did something for [livejournal.com profile] llumi's challenge, though it wasn't anything scary or anything. :D

I felt awful for wanting him to go back, but we were just tired of each other. You really need space for a healthy relationship.

SeSa! It's my favourite time of the year by miles! I just hope it's going to be run. I'm always nervous waiting.

I had a lovely 'me' day, well until the best friend came over, but even then, it was still gossiping which was fun.

I tell you, that month seemed like it lasted a year at times. I'm sure he was just as thankful to go back.

*hugs tight* I hope your day got better too.

Sorry if I got your hopes up.

I really do hope they run SeSa again, I really do love it a lot. But what can you do but wait?

I love CSI! and also, Sarah, even though a lot of people hate her. I haven't watched recently, though, cause we don't have the channel it's shown on.

also, I might have a *slight* obsession with this other show....

I haven't really watched enough episodes to have an opinion about her, my attention has been on Greg to be honest.

CSI is shown every night here, twice sometimes. I have a lot to look forward to it seems.

Really? I would never have known ;)

I'm humming that Pink song now - go away, give me a chance to miss you and all I want is one fucking hour - Everyone needs some alone time sometimes, and 24/7 company for a month is bound to get on your nerves. His too, I imagine. Anyway - very glad he's back to health!

We were tired of each other by the end, as much as he was moaning about going back to work today, I know he was missing his friends.

Now I look forward to him coming home, he looks forward to getting home. It's a good thing all round.

Perfect song btw :)

I d/l Torchwood from [livejournal.com profile] erilyn yesterday and as soon as I get that new dvd player I'm watching it! I never managed to warm up to the "new" Who - neither Nine nor Ten - but I have high hopes about this series!

He was *g* It was just too much by the end, we both needed time to do our own thing, which thankfully we're getting now. He's going to get his cast off later today, so fingers crossed, the whole situation will be done with.

I loved nine and ten, but saying that, I was only a casual fan of the old series, watching some of the doctors when I was a kid. I imagine if you're a committed fan of the old series it may be difficult to warm to the new.

Torchwood is fantastic, but saying that, different to DW. Both James and Corey love DW but neither were really taken with Torchwood, Corey because for him, it's the Doctor he loves, James because, well, I'm not sure why. It just didn't hit him the same way.
