Oct. 27th, 2006 01:11 pmI have bright orange hair. I keep catching a glimpse of it and double taking. It's weird, I've always had light hair, I do dye it blonder, but now I'm contemplating experimenting. Not bright orange though *g*
I've also stitched the giant spider web on my black skirt and have strutted around in my cape for a while. The MiL did a great job, it swishes and has spiders and is just cool! Now all I have to do is attached the light up skulls on my witches hat and do my make-up later. I'm going green I think. With the orange hair I'm going to look like an upside-down pumpkin. The skulls can wait for now though, my poor fingers are still aching after stitching on the web.
Last night, my boys and me went to see The Guardian. It was totally predictable but still made me cry and also crush on Ashton Kutcher a little, which is so wrong. Then went shopping at Asda. Shopping after midnight is always weird. The aisles are full of trolleys restocking shelves but you do get good bargains at times.
Okay, flist. You're amazing. Yesterday I was given a load of CSI recs,
chrismm especially went out of her way, guiding me carefully into the fandom. Then,
castalie wrote Heroes fic! I love that show, seriously. I get this amazing feeling of glee when Nathan flies, or Hiro bends time, or anything really. They're superhero mutants and man, so much love! Also,
musiclover03 asked people for pictures they wanted from her Sims game, and I asked for hugging trickc, because, well. Hugging trickc makes me happy. Very happy, and she posted some adorable pictures.
Then
pensnest wrote a trek/sparkly cross. Which hello. Two of my favourite things in the world! It also gives me hope that one day the Andromeda/Sparkly cross that Turlough and I want will be written. Harper and Chris, you know it makes sense.
I have to thank you all for the suggestions as to what I should pick for SeSa ;) Though really, I got votes for trickc, trickyfish and choey, what about timbertrick?! It's a pairing of love!
Finally, I've loved reading all the reports from sparklecon, I'm so glad everyone that went had a great time. It also makes me impatient for Camp Sparkle next year, because I so love those boys.
