Nov. 5th, 2006 05:32 pmOnce upon a time Sundays were for sleeping in, then trips to the cinema on the afternoon. Not getting up far too early to travel 50 miles to see your kidlet get beat at rugby. It was so cold today, with a wind that cut right through you. But for the first time there were enough kids for them to stay in their age groups Depending on how many turn up, sometimes the age groups get put together to make a team. Usually the under 11s being put with the under 12s. Today though the under 11s had a complete team so Corey got a full game. He actually touched the ball too, as well as getting down into the scrum. Finally he seems to have turned the corner of knowing what he's doing when he's playing. They were supposed to play twice, but the other team got dressed and went home after the first game, so Houghton won one by default.
After each game the kids get free food from the host club, usually a hot dog or stuff like that. So, we went for his food, and coming out met a group of people dressed to the nines. It seems the club had double booked its function room, so there were this group holding flowers and champagne and really smartly dressed waiting to get into a room filled with many dirty kidlets, all of who were eating and drinking from paper plates.
Ten minutes and we're going out again. It's bonfire night, fireworks and bonfires, the smell of smoke in the air. So cool! We're going to a display with the best friend, her son and her mam, then picking up my niece for a night freezing our asses while watching the pretty fireworks. I can't wait!
Okay, I need to go find a jumper then we're off.
Oh wait. SeSa is open! My favourite time of year is starting. Glee!
Ahahaha. Just told James why I was so happy, and he said it better not be like last year with me working on the story all the time. To which I say, HA! It wouldn't be SeSa without stress.

Dude, Locatrick should totally be on there! So should Cramp! Think of the minority pairings! Don't allow them to be oppressed!

You'd think so. Thing is, he thinks that I should plan things, just doesn't get that the whole point of SeSa is to stress and flail before writing a full story the day its due.
